New script: Auto Giveaway bot (adding to topic now)

Right, this script WILL have a couple of errors of which I wont be able to find by my testing, please message me if you find anything. Ill put a 1hr version and half hour version as I cant be botherd to code a way to change it.

Right, Giveaway has been totally fixed, thankfully. It was mainly me using $chan etc in the readinis and not using an n switch.

Great addition I added the energy/nerve notifier to my cappucino basic chain bot. Is a nice feature.One thing for mIRC noobs like me, to get this to work only on your faction thread and not get kicked and banned from all the other channels. Below is the first line in the script after the # enter your faction channel click save and it should only work on your channel.

Updated giveaway script, now uses central prize memo system ofwhich you need to get an API key from http://tornprize.com/?api.

I have to accept accounts individually and will allow adding admins for each channel subdomain.

To see your channels prize list use:

channelname.tornprize.com

without a # in it at all.

Updated giveaway script again, now with Staff channel abilities.

Type !linkchannel #STAFFCHANNEL in the channel you want to link from and everything in staffchannel will affect the bot in #OriginalChannel as if you was typing the command in there. Useful if you want to bulk add prizes or see prize lists without spamming the giveaway room.

To delete a link type !deletelink #STAFFCHANNEL and it will delete any link associated with that channel.

Added new snippit:

Links to TornTunes(Torn Radio) and displays the current song in any channel where you type !radio on. I advise you add some sort of "op only" protection for the commands if you do this in a big room . its just generally some people dont even bother getting ops in a channel when they create htem so I want the script to work for everyone.

!radio off turns it off in a particular channel.

For those having trouble with the timers script being an hour wrong its due to dailight savings.

Place this at the top of the script file to fix:

alias -l gmt return $calc($gmt + $daylight)

Please dont use the TornTunes script from this thread as it is filling my log files with crap. Thanks to Marc, we have a new script that you can use that puts no additional load on the radio server. Its free, and you are very welcome to use it. Simply add this script to your bot, and join it to #bots.
