Anyone who disagrees or did disagree with me when I first said this has so far been proved wrong by me and if you wish to say there is going to be a video we'll wait and see but I can assure you it's been like 2 months since he said he's done the video and it takes 5mins tops to upload it an give out a URL. I've seen him online since countless times for 30mins or so a time this is why if I donate to charity I just do it, I don't support people who do it for more credibility within a text based game and then screw people over lol..
I'm riding the entire of Britain next august for MND, Macmillan and Scouts, and every intention of doing it, no matter the weather, circumstances, providing im unable to ride my bike, I will be doing it, full stop.
It's a disgrace to the charity not actually doing what your sponsored for.
I was going to use JustGiving for my charity bike ride, but they are unable to give to three charities and it all goes through straight away.
Were-as we have 2 official accounts it will be going to with 2 separate accountants and will be presenting each charity with a cheque for X amount.
This is a disgrace to cancer research. I'm glad he chose justgiving though as at least every penny went to cancer research.
The video will be filmed on Saturday 25th August 2012 and uploaded to You Tube as soon as it is done.

So you claim the reason your video has taken nearly 7 weeks to upload on that you've never used youtube before? There's video's on Youtube on how to upload, it's on Wikihow. I'm sure that's a lie unless you have an IQ of 6, which you claim you do not have in the Forums daily.
Also you say that you haven't heard from Guinness World Records, i've contacted Guinness World Records myself to check this out as such. They said they don't have the information, although they would not support such a 'record' as this as it's extremely dangerous and not possible without serious damage.

My issue is that im rammed in RL with work. The vid is sitting unedited on my desktop comp at home. I havent been home for more than a few minutes at a time in the last few months and when i am there, im with my kids who i only get to see once a week anyway.

If anyone wishes to take legal action against me or cancer research uk as stated elsewhere, then mail me your address and i will send you my personal information to enable you to do so as well as informing the press.
However, if someone would like to edit the thing (which was the original issue - i didnt know how then didnt have time to teach myself), then i am more than willing to send you the cd-rom.

Gift Aid just means the charity gets circa 20% extra on top of what you donate. Nobody got scammed out of their cash...It all went to Cancer research.

I also find it hard to believe that in the past 3 months or whatever it is, you didn't have ten minutes to Google that yourself and upload it....I know that had I done this, getting the video online as promised would have been a priority. If I take people's money, even for a good cause, I would be making sure I uphold my end of the bargain. Hopefully you will upload it soon and regain a little credibility....
I know for a fact Lonestar wasn't getting a penny of the donations it was all going to charity.. and i read up on gift aid before i selected it, they give extra to the charities and they receive a VERY small part of it themselves (gift aid, not donation) which is fair enough..

I actually just checked, fiver.com have tonnes of people that will edit the video for you within a day for a fiver.. ($5) not even £5..

Bottom line is: charity is charity. You give not to get back. This would have been fun to see but who cares really? It was money raised for a good cause.
You should just hope that a day comes that you aren't a needy recipient and be thankful when it doesn't come.
