Hello fellow Torn players, and thankyou for visiting this thread.
This is unlike any other thread in fun and games in the way that I am asking not for your torn cash, but for your real life money.
Thanks to bl0ndie and -Clansdancer plotting against me in Hydr0's thread in Gambling, I now have to eat a pair of tramps pants. Now, I could have backed out of this and not have to do it, however an opportunity was spotted so I asked permission to do this for a real life charity.
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. We are fighting cancer on all fronts, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives. We are entirely funded by the public. With your help, we can ensure more people beat cancer.
Now, it has been decided that I will video myself doing this and post on here via You Tube. My name and ID will be fully visable in the video and my Facebook will be opened up so that ANY of you are able to see it really is me and not someone else.
I'm asking each of you to dig deep into your pockets for this most worthwhile of causes. Anything is better than nothing, so be it a dollar, a pound or more if you so wish and can afford it, it is all gratefully accepted and helps Cancer Research UK to fulfil their goal of beating cancer.
May I thank each of you for taking the time to read through this and ask that no matter if you see me as a friend or an enemy on here that you take this on its own merits and support this worthwhile cause.

You have a crisp £10 in my wallet as promised if you do this, but i don't want to put my card details up on the site, done it before for a friend who run a half Marathon at Brands Hatch but don't trust many websites -_- it says "Text donations" but on the donation page i can't find any donate via text section... any idea what the number is?
The more I raise BEFORE i film the video, the more motivated i will be to make the video more entertaining! I will happily pay for a professional video bloke out of my own pocket if you help me to raise £250 before filming takes place....!

You get to see me searching for pants, preparing to eat them and i'm pretty sure there will be some other stuff going on in the vid too.
Imagine those comic relief specials, but funnier and thats what im hoping to achieve. Ive already started planning for it!!!
So, I am prepared to give you all a laugh at my expense however - I need you all to dig deep. Even if its only a pound from everyone who visits this thread - that pound makes a difference so you make a difference.
Atentat....most people are generous and charitable but there are many, many charities out there looking for money. Using gimmicks to get your attention is common practice among all of them. It doesn't make them bad or you bad it's just a way to make that particular charity stand out.
Lonestar working for (and yes, "eating pants" is work) a certain charity is a very good thing. Getting the attention of many people to donate to cancer research is wonderful. Please don't try to undermine his actions.
I would also like to mention as this is something fun and a fun way (okay maybe not for lonestar) to earn money for a great cause. If you don't see it as that, that is your choice but don't post negative in here. It's not often something positive like this comes from online gaming communities.
So if you post negative drivel expect to be banned.
