I doubt they will change it to no energy if you fail to find items. It is a gamble and have you ever heard of lottery refunds to the non-winners? For 5 energy, you might find a DP or you might find nothing, depending on your luck and the generosity of others. I think it's a reasonable gamble.

around 10 items worth 50k, the rest about $10 and this is with awareness 6, so unless you have higher and alot better luck, youd be better of just mugging random people...
