how does anyone abuses the actionmarket ?
you have to place a bet and you can't bet on your own items ?
and if you ask friends to raise the betting at the last moment than it's there money they are playing with
everybody is free to place the amount he or she wants
Just don't get it
but looks like i'm the only one that doesn't get it .
now you we've got to by morfine and other stuff on the regular market where prices are alot higher or we have to see how are animal slowly die when hospitalist for very long times

I think to stop the abuse, or what might go as abuse would be to limit to 1 bid per category, such as medical, and so on, like 1 bid in the melee category, 1 in the medical category, and 1 in the special for an example... like I went to bid on an item in melee, and also wanted to bid on a morphene, and since I already had a bid on the melee, I lost out on my chance to bid on a morphene

is the abuse ike you bid on one item and since the money doesnt come from your account til the end of the auction (??) you oculd bid on osmething else and get them both ??

That's bout the most possible explanation for the abuse.
It'll make a player cash$ balance to be in the minus.
One best possible solution I can think of and it's a really simple one...
Send those doing that to the FEDEARAL JAIL.
It sure count as cheating.
Then the rest of us honest Auction House bidders can go on with the usual bidding.
The Admin just have to stick a RED BOLD WARNING on top of the Auction page:
Be Forewarned, If You Bid More Than You Can Afford And You Have A Negative Cash Balance, You Will Be Sent To The Federal Jail.
I think that would do it and simplied the matter.
It would be bad for TC economy if this only 1 bid goes on.

Has anybody else noticed that the server gets real busy around the top of the hour because we all wait for the last 2 mins to bid. The auction has to be revised from only one bid at a time to stop the clutter. 5 bids is reasonable with a blocker to stop you going over your cash balance. You bid over your bank balance TC says no more bids.

Auction House has temporarily been set to enable ONLY 1 High bid per person.
I know this is a pain, but is a temporary measure to help stem the tide of Auction Abuse that has been rampant for some time.
We hope to have new measures in place in the future so that legitimate users can use the auction to its fullest capacity.

Temporary means for a short period of time....There ar people that put items in the auction and then go back and try to buy the same items that they put on the market! That's abuse! If they put it on the market it's obvious that they dont need the item. So why try to buy the item you put on the market. It takes from people that need the item in the first place. If you have the money you should be able to place a bid on however many items you want to. It was never stated what type of abuse was being made. If it is actually known then it should be able to be eliminated so that it won't affect the entire population of torncity!
