I think the tagging system is great how it is.
Also, if we do lose our tagged list when we OD, its going to be fecking annoying.

Why doesn't everyone wait to see how this works?
It must be tough to be the game developer for this game. Almost every update is followed by incessant bitching and complaining. I've never seen anything like it.

sure you might not have bought the DP yourself but someone did and you caused that to happen. this game may be free to play but you still put money in ched's pocket.

It'd be cool if we could also choose whether we want to view our tagged people on the left or right side of the page. Because if you have 50 tagged people, and they all happen to be extremely active, the list would be pretty long. Just a suggestion, though
Edit: Ched, you could put it in an iframe, couldn't you? Would solve that problem right there, unless it already is ofcourse.
Why the hell would you want a crappy Iframe? They don't even work right on Firefox most of the time, and they look terrible.
i like it ... i have ppl on my friends list and black list ... but i never ever look at em or even use em now ... all i really use is the tagged list .. so for these reasons i think this is a good idea

I don't really see this update as important, it just tries to ease things a little bit. Not needed though, and actually it might make them more complex .

In a few days, we will be merging the tagging system in to the black list / friends list systems. You will lose your tagged lists, but you will be able to re-tag them after the update if you have added them to your friends list or black list.
This is to make the system a lot easier to use. You will be able to tag / untag your friends/targets with ease, simply by checking them on the friends list / black list.This removes unnecessary preferences options and makes everything a lot simpler.
We may also be making other small changes to the system, we'd like to hear your opinions.

Will you be increasing the capacity of our friends list and blacklist?
Currently we can have 150 players listed via all three. If you simply merge tagging on the current capacity friends and blacklist that would drop to 100.
Otherwise, the streamlining is cool and appreciated.

Many opinions have been expressed about this update, but still no replay from Chedburn in this thread...
Considering all that has been said and the fact that most of the players don't like this change, as it results from the rating of this thread, maybe it would be nice and fair if some explanations regarding the new tagging system would be given by Chedburn.

I see many other threads with lots of +rates. And in what concerns this particular thread, considering the comments, I think that the rating really shows how this change is received by most of Torn's players.

but at the same time if u look through this tread u will see loads of noobs saying good job (rated +) and they dont even have a donator pack so how could they even have a tag list anyway....most of these noobs dont even no what taglist is let alone know whats going on here
again i will say WHY is this update being put in
ITS CRAP AND MAKES THING WORSE IN MY OPINION...ur going from 150 ppl u can have to 100 ppl...it just doesnt make sense:|
