FYI its all done - the actual period of "downtime" was fairly short and it was followed by a fairly short period of chronic slowness...

We are trying to find the best way of taking a proper backup regularly which as you can probably imagine is difficult... so please expect some further testing over the next few days.

yes, I had some of that "downtime" if the "downtime" was "lost connection to..."
