Don't see the difference myself.
Abuse a bug in poker to make billions, crank it into 100's of billions in an easy stock market and use it to buy 100's of stat enhancers/fhc coupons and presto; same result as these gym cheats.
Hope the back tracking is eventually done on that score too. |
Agreed Bartus! I have been wondering how people afford all those enhancers and coupons, using bugs to gain more money in this game is the exact same as using bugs to exploit the gym.
So what about all those peeps that exploited poker and stock market and got ahead? hmmm?

Well cheaters are always going to be around its just if and when they are caught so its cool that they found the small group and had to be fair and make examples out of them....Just shows you that the staff are doing the jobs they were giving and didnt show favoritism to a fellow ex staff member...
Any problems I have with the game is always handled in a timely manner if it has to go to the staff.People just dont cross them and do bad things and all will be fine.I notice staff are just to the point when having to fix or help.I think all in all they are doing what they are suppose to do....No I am not sucking up but I havent got 1 thing bad to say about current staff.

Oh so just ban Flint? That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard... What would that tell future cheaters and lowlife scumbags? "Go ahead and cheat but make sure a staff is too so you won't get fedded and banned." Yeah it sounded stupid for me to even have to type that because it is horrible logic.
And PS... those player had BILLIONS of stats, genius, not just a couple 100K extra... They cheated and got busted, too f-ing bad. Why fix their stats when they could have reported it? FAIL on them. |
well yes i do think flint should be deleted or federal.. he is/was an admin and in my opinion they should be whiter than white and when he found out about the bug he should have done something about it.. dont get me wrong flint has done nothing to me and i busted him on numerous occasions,
as for the others they should be reset to zero battle stats and allowed to get their stats back up as they did abuse the bug.

What exactly defines an exploit? I would wager that half the players who use this once didnt even realise that it was an exploit. The old interest was not a bug, it was a way of making more money than other methods could, but still an intentional part of the game.
All of these announcements, devoid of information, give me an awfull sense that as soon as anything good happens to me ill be banned for something that I didnt even know I did.

they done a hack that give them near limitless amount of Energy, what is so hard to understand about that?
and there is no point tell the bug, because then they'll need to watch out for others doing it

the leader of my faction got 28 days of fed jail. i asked her what happened and she replied me that she only got more energy by .. changing job points .. i absolutelly trust her (not just because she is the leader of my faction, but because i know her very well from other "sites", where she IS "head of staff" )
if everything in this game is recorded, then why the one with the right of fed jailing have not properly checked the logs before doing the jailing ?
also, i'm wondering if there's somewhere in the game a proper definition of the term "bug", that staff is using to determine if something is a bug or not ?
that's because i wouldn't like to get myself fed jailed because of getting strength skills by using the job points ..

I was under the impression from another thread that some people were fedded (and since released) that had used an insane amount of job points.
Was that wrong?

I remember a while ago there was a spate of feddings for people who abused the poker bug, quite a lot of people in fed for 30 days or whatever. I wander if they had any of their tc play money confiscated though ?

Is that an actual quote ? I'm not sure who said that but it's true we don't scam, although it's legal we aren't allowed to ourselves... so yes, please elaborate, because you say "alot do it everyday..." so if that's true we might have a big chunk of drama on our hands.
