I have always had Lost Points Reports answered fairly quick, only thing is that a lot of times I got the answer that I supposedly did receive the points when i never did. So apparently they are bugs there too...WOW!! what a surprise......LOL
Sure fixes are needed and game must be stopped for it, but PLEASE:
1 - Replace the login page with a message stating how long the game will be stopped.
2-Stop the crons so our dogs don't die or get unlockable and we don't throw donator days away (like in other games)
I know you must have a lot of work right now, but that doesn't mean lack of consideration towards the players/clients...

So what exactly has been fixed?
Maybe jobs has, today was the first time in a week I've gotten army points, but thats been screwy for a month.
The points market is still screwed, as is the item market and auction house. Friends lists and black lists dont work. Theres as many errors now as theres ever been.
i aint sure but i hope the staff can fix the current problems and get the new updates that have been worked so hard on up quickly im dying to know what they all are
What IF we let Ched and his friends solve all the problems they encouter, and get the game solid and running smoothly and just then start a discussion if and how the player sre compensated for the lost time they could not use Torn City.
And to all who are whining:
did anyone put a gun against your head and told you to play TC?

OK this is something i think that many people seem to not understand....
Unless i am mistaken Torn City is a FREE game....
If you choose to donate that is your choice to do so.... Does not change the fact that Torn City is a FREE game..
These site admins and the people who code the game are doing this to create a game for you to play for free..
Give them a break they are working, i would assume, as efficiently as possible to correct the problems and bugs in the game.
Have a little patience they will be done soon enough...

you sure are pretty dumb! ... its not about whinning .. its about non-professional attitude from the staff & admin! ...
IF you know just a lil bit of maths ... there are around 350K + ids on TC ... even if half of them are multis .. that still leave 175K+ ids .... even if 1/4th of those left, buy a donator pack .. that makes it around 43K dps / month (and people even buy donator packs for their multis) ... AND, IF YOU THINK, I AM WAY OFF MY CALCULATIONS .. and out of those 43K we only take 10K donator packs / month .. that makes it $50K ... (REAL MONEY) ... so, the point is ... IF, this is the best that they can do then it certainly isn't good enough .. and in $50K / month they certainly can hire more than one 'professional' coder who can do this job "EASILY" ...
Where that money is going is anybody's guess ... but, if you really want to know .. I say you put up the question to the admins! ...
If you still believe this game is free & we are whinning for no reason ... I pity your thinking power! .... and everyone who thinks like that can take the joint award for "nOOb of the year 2006!" .... in $50K I guess we can even by you medals with your title inscribed on them! ...

Your right when you say common math says they make good money from the server..... But that still does not change the fact that it is a self made choice to DONATE to get a DP...The game is still a free service provided to the public....
What they do with the money made off the site is their business...
Im sure adding a proffesional coder would help.... But if they choose not to i would think that is their choice..
Nobody ever told me " Donate or you cant play."

So whether we as players agree with their decisions or speed in which they fix the errors in the game, in a sense, doesnt really matter until they make you pay to play....
...but you know... you will always find someone who knows better. Knows better how much admins earn from this game, knows better what should they spend that money at, knows better what is professional and what is not.
I've never spent even a single $ at this game so I still say it's free and I don't really care how much admins earn running this game. I also wish it would work perfectly. Admins do something to fix it and make it work - you can't say they do nothing. I'm not a specialist in all this stuff and I'm not really interested in how it works. Maybe it could be better but it's for fun and I enjoy it as it is now.
I still say if someone thinks he's so smart and abuses others who have different opinions - if you know better what to do and how to create a perfect game - why don't you start to run a game like this by yourself? You won't because you know it needs a lot of time and hard work and it's a big responsibility.
But if you ever will - let me know and I would be happy to play it.
ched and the other staff I belive that they are doing there best to improve the game and to fix the bugs...nothing is perfect in the word..and this game is not a exeption...
The ones who say that this ISN'T FREE they are dam dumbs (sorry the language) this game is 100% free I didnt spend a unique $/€ to play this game and I'm playing it...
And the money...I dont care to were they invest the money but I belive that a part is for the servers, a part to the staff and the other to what they want...THEY (STAFF AND ADMINS) DESERVIT (I dont know if is like this that we writte...)
