I don't get howe the odds and payout work--the numbers don't add up. How is it that some of the favorites have longer odds than the underdogs? Do the odds change with the betting? And there should probably be a spread on some of the team sports.

Due to the great feedback we’ve received from the new bookie system, we’ve made a few updates.
-New matches added now use odds. You will know what you stand to win before you place a bet.
-New sports added: Horse racing, Golf, Olympics, Motor sport.
-Ability to bet on a Draw.
-Bet on one of multiple results (not just two), great for F1, horse racing and various Olympic events.
-Other minor fixes and improvements.
Although we’ve updated many games/matches with the new odds system, some matches previously added will use the old reward system. All new matches should use the new odds system. Remember to check the bookie daily for new match additions.

Can you please add an option to remove or change your bet so long as it's due before game time or whenever you lock betting ...
Not the 1st time I bet more than intended and can't go back to edit my bet ....

This. Just lost 1B when I meant to bet 100m. A simple confirmation screen would help, and why not be able to alter bets if still before the bets are closed. Doesnt make sense:s

If they really do have "longer odds" then they aren't the favorites, are they. Remember in fractional odds just because a number is bigger doesn't mean they're longer odds.
For example: 2/33 is a hot favorite compared to 5/1.
Look at the Multiplier or $10 Bet columns, the lower the number the more favored they are.
The odds don't change and there's no spread betting at this stage, just straight win, lose or draw.[/quote]

As you know from the upgrades, Ched welcomes feedback, so that's a possibility. By the way the odds don't change so you can leave placing your bets to closer to the time if you like, you won't be penalized with lower odds.

Why not wait until the very last minute to place your bet?
The only reason not to wait in real life is that the odds may change. In Torn, the odds don't change (or apparently, if they do, the event gets deleted and your money is refunded, so it doesn't matter anyway), so you get the same odds 5 minutes before close as you do when they first go up.
