Kurt Cobain, is that you? TC has become a major business now so facebook is an obvious way to get more $$$$ into the system to pay the coders for more updates. Ched is not the only one doing updates you know.

Torn now has a page on Facebook!
We’re just kicking off the Facebook page now – and already some discussions have started on there. If you’re looking to connect to thousands of other Torn players, become a fan of our page.
Also, to make this a little bit sweeter – we’re going to post some undercover information about some updates over the next few months. I know usually we keep everything under wraps – but just by becoming a fan of our page, you can hear something on the inside before other players.

It's all about the money.
I say open up a new voting booth to vote on this change.
It will allow us to know what the people of Torn want and it will also make good use of the voting booth since it hasn't been used in over a year.
