So you decided Torn should have an identity on face book, it could generate a wave of new players. Great I applaud the idea.
What i don't agree with is why would you alienate those that don't wish to be on face book by offering TORN GAME info on a 3rd party site... Did someone buy shares in face book ???
To think I made the suggestion to put advanced update info inside of the Donator forums, after all these people who have access there have paid to this site for the privilege.
I will not sign up to a 3rd part social networking site. If i wanted that I would have done it already, I personally think this is ridiculous.
Rated + to be on face book (get more members etc)
Rated - to offer specific game info on a 3rd party site (at least offer the same in the donator forums!)
I'd like to remind people that Facebook has privacy settings so you can be a fan of the Torn page but no one can view your profile. All people will be able to see is your real name, your network - which is about to change - and the photo you have as your profile pic.
People can only view the info that YOU choose people to see. And no one is forcing you to be a fan of the page or to even post in the discussions.

Even more ridiculous, as quoted below, is that 'undercover info' is being given for being a fan whilst those who choose to only have a presence here are kept in the dark. You'd think those who haev been loyal but chose to -not- subscribe to facebook would still be given equal standing with info.

I rather keep torn's friends away from my family members in facebook.
