We've made a pretty massive update to the help tutorial for the first time in years. All information should now be up to date, we've also added several new sections. This tutorial is certainly a must-read for new players!
We've also made some amendments to the rules section. Please make sure you stay within the rules by checking the Player Policies on the sidebar. This is very important to avoid any unwanted bans.
As you may have seen over the past couple of days, we've been having a few technical difficulties. These are random server bumps which can't really be helped; we are constantly making changes so that they don't occur as often.
We apologise, but feel like we handled the situations very well. We're always learning from our mistakes, and downtimes, lag and issues are always becoming less frequent as the years progress.
We've still got a load of updates we're working on, and a nice healthy to-do list which should last us a while.
just want to know so that i can pay for sluts again, seeing as i wasted 30mil paying for them when you guys refused to tell everyone that there was problems.

Staff Interruption
This is the act of attacking, bountying or in anyway committing an act within the game to get even with a Staff member for doing his/her job. If you do not like the way something was handled please speak to a Community Manager. Taking it upon yourself to deal with it could result in a Fed Jail sentence.
edit-Also Mr Chedburn, the rollback on the personal stats appears to only of half worked. Still have 0 runaways (had over 130) and am missing about 30% of my attacks/defends/crits. Thought you may want to know

The numbers are coming back slowly-some that were back to about the correct totals are now back to zero again. Maybe if the site was just shutdown entirely for a day or two it would be easier to fix rather than trying to play catch up with the new stats that continue adding up?

If this is the case ALL STAFF SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM GUILDS and remove the bounty and attack button. This is a set up waiting to happen. If they want to play the game then they should no longer be allowed to be in guilds to hide. Its not fair that they can attack and others can not retaliate.
And I dare say whom determines if the attacks/bounties are a result of regular gameplay or retaliation for a perceived wrong perpetrated against said player by that member of staff, hmmm? Why staff of course. So it would probably be wise to not attack staff under any circumstances.

LoL, anyone that wars a faction with staff in it might end up in fed. One more reason not to chain!
Sometimes its just easier to mute them then own up to your own mistakes!!

They are called factions here not guilds, and people can retaliate under normal gaming conditions. I get hosped all the time in major wars. Good lord when I last warred PT Familiy I got to know the Torn nurses on a first name basis - and enjoyed it immensely too.
However that is normal gameplay. I personally think if a staff member is hospitalized or bountied for doing something in the line of duty (ie not of their own making) then it should be addressed.
Also, far from being strictly enforced just a quick email or chat in IRC resolves it without warnings/bans/whatever, which has happened twice in recent weeks.

I would agree if a staff member says mail bans someone with in the rules and then gets 10 bounties on them by that person who in the past otherwise has never had any dealings with the staff i feel its suitable that further action could be taken against that player.
If staff cannot enjoy game play without there staffing role bleeding into there normal game play there would be alot of staff who would not be prepared to take up the post or maybe become leniant in there actions against players for fear of retributions..
Staff should be able to enforce the rules without fear of retributions for doing there VOLUNTARY ROLE.
