No. The previous incarnation of the stock market was pumping billions into the game daily at an exponential rate that was shockingly obvious to everybody except chedburn and staff. After certain people became incredibly filthy rich, somebody mentioned to chedburn what was happening to the economy and how certain factions and individuals were making so much money that they could not possibly store it all, let alone spend it.
then tea was fedded almost immediately after all of HT's money was transfered to him so he could invest it
Chedburn then removed the stock market and replaced it with the current one. And as a way to get rid of future get rich quick schemes, took bank interest in hand (somebody forgot to mention that the rich people were not using the bank in order to get rich) and chopped it down to the current interest rates.
So now what we have are items that none of us can afford except those who were busy taking advantage of the stock market back when it actually made some serious dosh. All these high priced best items in the game mean is that chedburn is trying to entice those rich players into spending their money so they will no longer be quite so rich.
The rest of us will never ever ever ever ever be able to afford them. And if we can, it will merely mean that another way to get insanely rich was introduced to the game, totally unbeknownst to chedburn and gang.
This was not meant for the hoi polloi. This was meant for a very small handfull of players that learned how to manipulate a stock market that is no longer available in the hopes that they will spend all of their money to get the best items.

Here's an idea for you... Instead of making the prices ridiculous, why not change them too 200m/250m/400m/ and MAYBE 1b (for example). This would actually interest people into buying these items and do the job of taking money out of the economy. You could of had billions taken out already if it wasn't for the stupidly high prices.

Do you honestly think people are going to fall for such a obvious con, there is no resale value all you can say is you own a particular item with for the cost a marginal advantage over standard weapons.
There seems to be an aristocratic elite in TC, yes, they are probably not interested in resale value, just ownership by way of trophies.

lol This game was already biased towards the oldest of the old players. Well done devs, for contributing to the currently broken system. The only reason I continue playing this damned game is because I've dropped so much money in it already, it would be a shame to quit. Would I be stepping over the line by giving you all a hearty "f**k you"?
Make one of the guns a one hit KO golden gun that hospitalizes whatever it hits for 3 days. Which will make training strength and defence pointless. One hit, doesn't matter if your strength is 10, you'd beat somebody with 10 trillion defence.
