How about the one that on holiday for 2 - 3 day and type www.torncity.com and could not login the page? I prefer torncity name better. We can use short form of TC and it all about the city itself. Not torn

the game has 1000000000 bugs
stockmarket charts are mesed up,
mail bug shows that i got new mails no emails in inbox
i got mail froma player that was inactive for about 30 min
lol
just shut it down fix it and then turn it back on

That's right, for anyone who logs on to TC for practically every day of their TC life will find it weird.
Example: Open up another tab, and start typing www.torn.com
Just after the "n".. do you notice it?

Exactly! We are playing in a City, not some silly made up land called Torn.
Shorter is not better in a games case, look at all the popular games, which ones have a 4 letter name?

can we have a vote on the name please....
we haven't had a good pole in a while....i don't care about the address bar being changed, i dont' think any of us do...but the name doesn't have to go with it.
as people have stated, this is a city. it should be called Torn City....you can only leaving off the city only sounds good when you have more than one syllable...."detroit, Miami ect." but just Torn is wierd...
Torn paper, Torn clothes, torn book.....:S

my thinkin on this is 3fold..
1.. he probably had to change the name cause of some trademark infringement or something cause he was to cheap to trademark the name itself
2. if not cause of trademark infringement or other legal reason to change name its stupid...you build something for 4 years then change the name is retarded... its like changing the dallas cowboys name to the dallas cows
3. he changed the name so kids at school can playit for 2 days before the teachers block it again and then they go and delete 700 kids for multis after taking there mmoms credit card money
