how is that more professional. now it has no meaning and no relation to what it is. a name or url should be descriptive, yes preferably in the shortest way possible, but torn is really just nonsense and out of context.

i dont usually post often but i am going to have my say in this...
the banner looks totally wrong.. having played this game for so long and watched the game go through so many different modifications and updates.. updates that we as players had a contribution to.. the login page has a picture of a city in the background...
you dont change the name of a game just because it makes things easier.. if you wanted to be more professional you should of changed the domain name url to
www.tc.com
I am not impressed.. not impressed at all *two thumbs down ched*

When Googling the word "Torn," it comes up more often. Therefore, it gives Torn City more hits and it draws more people to the game. Ched was only thinking with his wallet. That is why the word "Torn" is more "professional."

Alright ched, this is cool and everything, i like the fact that the url is now just torn, but i think the banner and the image at the login page looked better when they said "torn city". It doesn't look like there is enough there now.

Well, I just Googled 'torn' and after a couple of Youtubes from Natalie Imbruglia, TC comes up first in the main results, with its old domain.
