If you want trading to be realistic like in the real world then you need to show the amount of trading or it is not! I doubt this will be done though because in a sense the centralised exchange has gone, in your view that was you. In the real world the central exchange exists to show volume of all shares bought and sold and this helps traders make decisions when to buy or sell because they can see the actual volume being traded and the likely supply/demand.
I trade forex - currency in real life and there is no central exchange and zero regulation by law, but most legit brokers do apply for voluntary regulation.
Well I hope you fixed what was caused by you, what about the capped point smarket, that really screws the TC economy....it affects everyone in TC not just donators or people that buy or sell points but the whole economy! It is a stealth tax.

When the prices get very high why don't you do a spilt

Nice model, starts to resemble the real world a bit miore
Anyway, it might be best if there are dividends even on a single share.. every 90 days or so (no matter how long it has been held..), depending on the shares individual factors.
Furthermore, to increase comprehension, it would be good to state the factors.. like gunsales for AI etc.. for all the shares! Is this affected by sales aborad aswell? I guess the swiss clinic might be a good investment
So in the longrun there would be a approximate -10-60% (30% avg) gain on the shares annually in both value and dividends.. Or however much is desirable for the system.
Please think about it.
And dont leave out intrest rates from that system..

the stock market must take a hit every once in a while, or you get the same situation we are in now. inflation is bad. there has to be a way for ppl to spend massive amounts of money that will not return into the system. if everyone is making money without risk, then the value of a dollar diminished.

Hey look, another way to make sure the low level players never get any where. If by changing the market to player trades with other player set up all you do is make it so the rich high level players buy up all the stocks and hold the stocks so no one can get any money out of the market. The only thing you have managed to do ched is make it more difficult for small budget players to make any money while empowering the rich high level players as usual but then that is how things get done in tc.
