Pressing the stop button is as easy as pressing the play button. The day people stop saying "I shouldn't have to click stop" will be the day that phrase becomes meaningless. And thanks. Gir is a pretty big hardass and I hoped he'd rub some off of me.

Well, I can explain this.
People don't buy cds anymore, and programs such as Limewire, KaZaA, Napster, etc give you a chance of downloading a virus with the song you're downloading. So if you're like me, and don't want to get a virus or severely bog down your computer...An online playlist is the perfect solution.

I'd like absolutely all animated forum and profile sigs changed, as they bother me. I'd prefer if they didn't begin animation until I clicked a button to start them.
I also have issues with some user images. I'd like those to remain blank until I click user images to view them.
Not only are some offensive, they slow down my computer.
The decision on autoplay being made, I assume these requests will be promptly met, and I thank you.

The problem with this is not everybody checks the forums so if they do not know and then you delete thier profile that is kinda harsh don't you think. Can't you just go in and delete the player or whatever is making the noise?

whatever .. ya know what .. you selfish bastards want your players removed go cry to the little ass owner of this game and he will grant your wish. then auotplay wont even be an issue .So forget about the people being told they cant have something just so others will be able to hear "thier" nusic while surfing profiles
remove all sigs , remove all graphics , remove everything then you wont run any risks while playing a game that consists of risks .

Are you so self-enamoured that you have your page up to your profile ALL THE TIME to hear YOUR music playing 24/7?
Go sulk in a corner and learn some consideration for other people... like those of us who have low-bandwidth connections to the 'Net that gets hogged up every time we go to someone else's prof page and have to try and stop the playlist in time so that our connections AREN'T hogged.

Sometimes a profile visit is required to perform a function of the game. Sometimes, your wife was the last one to use the computer, and forgot to turn the volume down, like she does 90% of the time. Sometimes, when you get home late from work, you just wanna zone on the computer for a half hour; play some TC. Maybe someone took a shot at you and failed, you want to get some revenge. But maybe, they're level holders. So, check their age. And now I'm loading a profile and BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some Simple Plan/Jonas Brothers/Backstreet boys/Super-death metal/unnecessarily Gansta-Gangsta rap. Ever had a frickin' heart attack? And then you might have to listen to some bitching about waking her up with your "Loud computer use".
As for an icon that warns of Auto-play, should us anti-players just avoid those people? If that's the case, I'm getting a recording of an Airhorn at full-blast and Auto-playing that Sucker.
YOU CAN STILL HAVE WHATEVER MUSIC YOU WANT. I'm sure someone could create Even a Rollover switch that turns it on; so you just pass your mouse over it. They do it for stupid animated Smilies and other annoying Ads; we could probably figure it out for players.
Also, I'd like to note that as far as I can tell, with 2 exceptions, the only people in favor of auto-play are less than 2 years old. The guy who started this huge hate-war is just barely over this mark.

I'm sorry people are upset about this, but remember this: Ched+TC=Making money. I'm sure he likes the ideals of running such a game, but I'm also sure he likes eating and having shelter. People in here act like he has some duty to do what is "right". He doesn't. Wasn't there a vote about this awhile ago? Fact is, if 60% say no, and 40% say yes, 60 is bigger than 40. 60 is more revenue. In a situation like this, 60 can be happy, or 40 can be happy. It can't go both ways.
Again, I'm sorry that you feel slighted. It sucks. I hate the new attack system, but I was the 40 that time. I had to suck it up, and now you do too. Start working on that rollover control.

tho i will point out 2 far far smaller facts.
one is that whole 'its one little button to stop the auto play'
if you have 5k images that are gonna take 10min to load on a t1 connection, your music starts before then, and i cant click that button till it loads and i can scroll that far.
two is the whole 'just turn your sound off'
like any other person with at least semi-average intelligence, i listen to my music thru an outside player (winamp). why should i have to turn my music down on the chance you have some shitty tunes that no one but you would wanna hear on your profile?
deal with it, lose the autoplay, and move on. ALL of the major playlist sites have an option to turn OFF the autoplay. use it and you will never even get a warning about the new rule.

and piss people off, get your profile sig deleted, and get hospd when you annoy someone bigger than you that just had their ears burned by the crap you consider music.

i'm sorry but i think it sucks that i have to turn off my autoplay,its my profile and if somebody doesn't like it then don't be nosing around my profile.after all i didn't invite you to come and visit.it's like a non-smoker coming to my house unannounced and then complaining that i'm smoking or that it smells like smoke.they can hit the road and don't let the door hit you where the good lord split ya.

This was on the suggestions board for six months. Everything that you guys (one out of every 50, but still) are complaining about has already:
1) Been said.
2) Been considered.
3) Been rejected.
Both on said suggestions forum, and this one. Many of which have been denied in the first few pages. Don't expect you to sort through all these posts (many of which are really just a sad excuse to increase their post counts, really) but you could read into it a little bit. Come on.

i don't see how it's a big problem if you don't want to listen to the music, whatever someone has on their profiles wouldn't you think to have your speakers muted or turned down or you can take the time to pause the music audio players on someone's profile:|

To the ones who are still complaining, ignoring the logical arguments that have been posted in reply to your stupidity, I ask you this.
Are you just complaining now purely for the sake of having a go at Chedburn, because you're pissed off with past events (stocks, Tea taking your money to fed with him, factions, racing, dogs, etc.)?
I mean, come on. Really. The alternative is that your IQ is around the same as your TC level.
