I think it the best update ched. But it still not clear. The benefit effect after 20-60 days right? Is it we get permenant benefit or we get benefit as long as we still got the stock?
How the benefit "get random dividen" effect? It does say when you get the dividen right? If you answer is after we sell the stock...What the different if you hold longer too get the "get random dividen" or sell your stock every 60 days? Does it the same benefit or what...

Rich get richer, this is how this game has been since day 1. Other than tea getting fedded, the rich and older players always have an edge. And this dog tag game is an absolute JOKE. My tag was gone before i even knew about the game, lol. This stockmarket update is BS,if you want more people in stocks, give it for free, first of all and secondly make it feasible that lower level players can start with say 10million and actually work the market, and make money or it won't be played other than 1000 rich older players that's it!!!

What do you mean who cares unless you play the market? this change affects the whole economy. There are a limited ammount of ways for money to enter the tc economy. The stock market was by far the biggest, and now that has been cut down, it means there is less money thats going around. This means, that prices will fall for things. Its great for lots of newbs, who happen to stumble across something like a stat enhancer, but at the end of the day, the less money, the lower prices. It has a knock on effect. thats how it will effect EVERYONE!

The whole reason why the stockmarket was a big hit was because there was always something to do. It became addicting (One of the last addicting features that TC has I would say.). Every 15 minutes investors would have to go around re-assure everyone and make their predictions. Then the cycle would start again. It was fun like that. It was another thing to do while waiting for energy to refill. Now its just like energy refilling. Login, train, crimes, stockmarket, logout. Its going to become boring and people will lose interest. These stock benefits are only going to help for the first 2-3 weeks then it will become those same investors. And even then you lost their interest because it was boring and not worth it.
So what chedburn that you added a few billion to the economy. Im sure you could of found other ways to take that money out by giving people stuff to spend on. Now its just became boring and repetive. The stockmarket is now something I am totally not going to bother with using.

nothing predictable bout stock market.. you get everyone to put money in a stock and whooop it goes up... if the people complaning were smart they would all get together put all there money in 1 stock and it will go up everyone makes money angain and everyone happy

You got a point there buddy....I don't think it will make use some money with stock market. It just the benefit that interest people. Making money out of it? I don't think so. Like ched said, it will continue to goes up and down. You cannot sell below than 6 hours or 1% will be deduct. Let say if you make 1% in normal stock market before(old system).....If you got 1% decrease in first 3 hours and continue to drop the percent, will you hold it for another 60 days? Lol...What will happen in 20-60 days? Buy at $100 per shares. After 20-60 days you sell it for $90 per shares. Ooo my...lousy way to invest your money then

im going to add my noobie 2 cents real quick. half of the fun of SM was the ability to have something to do every 15 mins. that is nearly gone now. best you can do now is watch your stock rise or fall for 6 hours. blah!

go find another way to solve your inflation problem!... that come back to the question of how much thought he actually put into this whole STOCK thing...
afterall STOCK comes out soo quick to cover up the faction rip off... (no sh!T forgot to think about the inflation)

Afraid that some folks might have better ideas than you for this game.
Ok I guess you are worried that someone will take claim for the idea if you add it.
How about taking the time to read some of the ideas there it might give you a pulse.
If your not going to use ideas then get rid of the thread it is no good
But if you took the time and applied customer service since we are all your customers and used some of the ideas you might just start earning some respect

Awesome... the "update" is a nerf...
Now you can't invest short term even though the damn market is not based on reality and won't work properly long term...
yea I think I'm done on the stock market, you made money because you could jump
maybe FIX THE MARKET CODING before doing this and allow investors to directly influence the stock rather then continuing a random stock market thats forced long term
I suggest you raise the min level for the stock exchange to 40 or 50, they are the only ones who can get any use out of it now...
I want my 20 points back for the ticker!
