Edit: The maintenence has been completed, the site was down for no longer than 20 minutes as the data transfered very quickly. We were very surprised to see zero immediate errors. Certain crons have been modified however, we will find out if they work properly tomorrow night. Please keep an eye out. Thank you.
There will be a session of scheduled maintenance starting at around 2am tomorrow morning (31st). If all goes well, you shouldn’t notice any difference when we’re back up. This is a large behind the scenes change which should allow data to flow easier. We are making database changes to jobs, companies and working stats, they are being moved in to a different database to ease pressure on other tables.
This is one of a number of large changes we will be making over the coming months, to reduce lag spikes and random bugs.
The length of this downtime is unknown, it could be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour depending on how long the data takes to transfer. The site will be brought back up as soon as possible. We will also try to pause faction chains during this time to keep them from breaking, although we cannot make any promises.
