I think that people need to stop whining. If you want to make cash, then you shouldnt be bothered about peacful status anyway. If you 'just want to train and grow in peace' as most peaceful factions state they do, then you shouldnt be worried about making money, and if you own a faction and want to upgrade it, stop being such a stingy bastard and donate some of your own goddam money!

I'm way lot richer than you SuperGinge [532408] <== Live in penthouse

Just another crappy update.
Damn TC sux
Money is way too less

To all muggers;
I do NOT carry over 1 million in hand at any time. All my money gets placed immediately in the vault, turned into points, or sent to RL friends. Save you energy trying to mug me....

Organised crimes have had a complete overhaul. We have a whole new system with more crimes and bigger rewards.

- Factions can commit multiple organised crimes at the same time.
- Faction members can no longer join the crime, they must be selected before the planning starts by a leader or co leader.
- Organised crimes can only be started with the correct amount of people in the team. For example, no more, and no less than two for the blackmail crime.
- A lot more respect can now be earned overall, giving factions a bigger buffer of respect during wars.
- If a person is a member of an organised crime, they cannot leave the faction or be kicked until the crime has been initiated, or cancelled.
- The leader or co leader of the faction must wait until the crime has been planned, and then click initiate to complete the crime. Any member of the team however can cancel the crime.
- Peaceful factions will lose their peaceful status if they try committing crimes harder than a Bomb Threat. In this case, there are warnings to avoid accidental loss.
- A faction crime cannot be initiated unless all members of the team are ready and not in hospital/jail/travelling.
- There will always be a chance to fail an organised crime, the better the team members, the less likely you will fail.
- These new organised crimes may seem harder than before. Test what your faction is capable of, and select the correct faction members for the job.

EDIT: Forgot to mension, people will gain E X P and crime experience from doing OCs too.

Blackmail - 2 People Required - 24 Hours to plan

Abduction - 2 People Required - 48 Hours to plan

Bomb Threat - 3 People Required - 72 Hours to plan

Planned Robbery - 5 People Required - 96 Hours to plan

Rob a money train - 6 People Required - 120 Hours to plan

Take over a Cruise liner - 15 People Required - 144 Hours to plan

Hijack a plane - 8 People Required - 168 Hours to plan

Political Assassination - 4 People Required - 192 Hours to plan

People will gain access to these organised crimes over the next hour. You can get to them by clicking âOrganised crimesâ in your factions main page.

There may be issues, in which case you can post in the Bugs & issues forum.

Thank you.

Good Grief!!! Ok...first...IF you have a peaceful faction..then pretty much all you want is respect so that you can continue...You want to earn money...do more crimes...join a company that pays you well!!! Come on folks I think that...and I cant believe I am saying this that ched did an awesome JOB!!!!! All the folks in my faction dont care about OC money. All they want is a place they can train and do crimes without being attacked...or chained..so please..folks you want to make money off of OC's..thats an easy answer...get rid of the peaceful status on your faction...and you are good to go!! well as long as you can stay out of the chaining buzz saw coming your way.....

thast because none of them own a faction i own a faction no moneys gains means a pointless faction !

a faction cost 3.5 million
no money too gain means no members no members mean no respeat
no respect means

no peace
no peace means

one dead faction

result wasted 3.5million

Edited by: TherealCheesy on 22/08/08 at 11:30:51 PM

Ummmm most people dont own a faction to gain money...and I own a faction...sooo guess your therory doesnt hold water there. Also my people are in my faction to keep from getting attacked. The ones that want to make money do crimes and work for a COMPANY...you know work..that thing you do and get PAID DAILY!

well i don't just want to make money for myself (but that would be nice )
but too pay the members so they will stay with the faction you know the same reason people stay with a company ---------- the pay

some do join certain things to part of a community of friends playing the game together
me for example am part of a business where 4 of us are family members we are trying to help make the business work and the cash mean too much

but most just want cash

Ya, agreed 100% with everyone on the low cash gain issue, i completed a bomb-threat and i got 10 respect with 10k, love the respect gainage, but the money is a bit gross, espcially waiting for 2 and a half or so days..like be more realistic...

we also have to remember that there is always too much money in the game that ched wants to get out. This is just another way to get rid of more money from coming in, you just make it so clans get more respect than before and less money.

It's a better balance than other things that ched has done to get money out. haha

major flaw here. i can't leave my faction. as soon as the oc is done, the leader starts a new one with me in it, so i can't leave. that needs a serious fix.

I kind of miss starting the OC countdown and checking back in half an hour and seeing five other people had signed up already. It gave me a real sense of working together.

In jobs you really don't have to do anything. With the new factions people don't need to communicate at all, just sign in once every few days. Things that decrease the need for cooperation are bad. It would be possible to play the game everyday without actually talking to anybody.

Sad. I'd bump the money on the lower OCs by 3-5, and assign roles then make people sign up for them. It seems like the benefit of having cooperative active players has been decreased substantially.

You can't if all your faction is already involved in one. This update made things a whole lot more difficult for my 3-man team.

1. The team drive to the Torn City Docks, and pull up outside the car compound.
2. icantthink4155 approaches the site manager and starts chatting to him to divert his attention.
3. Meanwhile, HellsDisciple and dime start dropping small explosive devices next to random cars.
4. Once the bags are in place, they give a nod to icantthink4155 and they all head back to the van.
5. icantthink4155 calls the site manager and tells him that unless he pays a ransom, they are going to destroy the site!
5. The manager runs to the fence and throws a large bag of cash towards the van.
5. icantthink4155 smirks and mutters "What the hell..." as he flicks the switch, and destroys the car compound.

+ $7,500 made
+ 10 respect has been earned

7500 for a damn bomb threat!

i think this is just another way of keeping the rich, rich and the poor, poor,

the people like the upper players have so much money now they dont care about this no money in factions, they got billions floating in the banks so with the tc bank interest they get more money out of bank interest than the new players will ever see now.

i know that with out my faction payouts and fellow faction members i wouldnt be were i am now.

with the faction payout almost none existant, i shudder for the new players trying to scrape money together

maybe its a way of forcing the new players to buy more donater packs ? cutting off another avenue were the noobs can gain some good money the natural way?
and lining there pockets further?
