I have good news here... and some bad news here...
Bad news first ... Trading a merit for +10 faction respect has been removed... this was causing more issues than keeping it was worth...
The good news however is that their is very soon to be in place a few changes that will make the need to purchase merits to stay afloat obsolete and not necessary to keep your faction thriving.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please give us a little bit of time to run some final tests.

Its kind of funny you say the value of a merit is 500 points yet in truth something is only worth as much as you are willing to spend. So if you willing to spend 500 points for a merit its what its worth to you. If you are willing to sell the merit for 100k thats all its worth to you. However thats just my opinion on that matter.
However I am curious about the updates making it easier for faction to gain respect given I noticed through people some of the crimes now pay less cash but more respect. While a nice addition with allowing multiple oc's given the peaceful factions must do low level ocs to maintain status.
If its the idea of making it easier for peaceful factions as in they can earn a lot more respect which if the old system comes back and traded in is nice, but it will also make the low level factions poor and not worth keeping status because most of the people who do it for cash wont recieve any worthwhile oc pay. But the upgraded respect I guess is better.
I will wait and see but this has me interested and curious.

The problem was that people could get upgrades in faction training that allowed them to catch up to the HOF members. No other problems....They look after nothing here but their own and the big players here folks...Screw the lil guys and the new guys out of cash to buy DPs that wont ever help them succeed...Shhh Its a big secret!!!
