Why aren't the majority of the items donated to the dollar sale instead, and that way people apart from the loaded few in Torn City may have a chance of grabbing themself something good??

Why does everyone want a handout? If someone put the time and/or effort in to make the money to buy the premium items, then they're just having their time and effort rewarded when they choose what to spend that money on. Simple equation really.
The people complaining are the ones who want reward for nothing. Besides, there will still be bargains, because people can only have a bid on one thing at a time in the auction house.
This is a cool idea.
When is it happening? Not that I'll be able to afford anything but it will be interesting to see the prices.

It sounds too good to be true but at the end of the day its always those people who are rich who gets everything as they can outbid anybody ...

There would be more chances for poor TC people to in getting those items if they are being posted on the item market too.

i think there should be a raffle and items given away in drawing so every one has chance to get some items newer players cant possiby get items but a raffle gives lower levels a chance also just a suggestion

Funny how people are telling others to shut up about the prices on these so called cheap items... they start out cheap and then people like HT dirty dog come in and bid 20 mill on a item which makes it impossible for anyone but the rich to fill out their display cases.
clansy this is a joke if you wanted to really spread it out you would have given the items to body and company for the 1 dollar item sales. i have not seen one item sell for cheap whatsoever. whenever one gets close to coming out someone always comes in and lays such a HUGE bid on it that noone but the rich and richer can afford it. what s a fricking joke this is.
and just for the record i am not poor nor terribly rich but i sure as hell am not blind either. any bid i or anyone i know has put on one of em has instantly been trumped by a few mill more at the very least by a super rich player.

The money goes nowhere these are NPC accounts they dont get played.
Im almost sorry we did it now.
People complain the rich people will just get everything, it's only worth what you bid on it. I start them all at 1 dollar. Worth nothing to me I cant even bid.
People complain about the time zones. They are up there for 24 hours surely that fits somewhere into your time zone.
I announced staff (other than admins) could participate. I'm not going to remove them from bidding just because they are staff hell they get nothing for even being staff why make them lose out on anything.
Further more nothing changes. The items go 3 at a time from 2 NPC accounts the starting price will be 1 dollar.
Don't like it? Dont bid! |
just like usual clansy you never see the plain truth in front of your face... the rich get richer and more cool stuff and the poor get screwed over again only this time you hung a steak in front of a hungry man and said NO you cannot afford this. give ya head a shake. if the money doesn't get used then why not add em in for 1 dollar on the ITEM market? at least some of em... split em in two batches so the rich get what they want and the poorer and newer members get a shot at something they may otherwise never have.

just like it was mentioned before... the rich buy the items and then turn around and double and triple the price and resell. which only goes to show that this so called act of good faith was not really that well thought out. the rich only get richer and these items only wil be seen in the display cabinets of the rich and bloated. Yes i have the money for em but why should i help make people who are already insanely rich even moreso? lol cumon next time try and do it right... give em to body to deal with as she works things so they are fair for everyone.

what a waste of time this has been , the poor will never get their hands on these items when all the rich players blow all the low bids outta the water!!! To make it fairer put the rest of the items in the item market and everyone will have an equal chance to get these cool items instead of the rich!!!!!
