It's here again! Check out the competition link on your sidebar which should be appearing over the next hour.
Torn City is offering points for the top three best Mr and Miss Torn submissions!
To enter, upload an image of yourself to your user gallery with your User ID written by hand in the photo. (I.e. On a piece of paper in the photo). This is to prove it is you in the photo. Then go to your user gallery and edit the description to the number one thing you strive for.. i.e. 'World peace'. Then change the type of the image to either 'Mr Torn submission', or 'Miss Torn submission'. Your image will then be viewed by a staff member and accepted/declined. Once accepted, the Torn City players will vote on who they want to be their new Mr and Miss Torn!
Make sure to change your gender to your real gender before entering.
Your photo must be of you holding your userID, not edited in later.
To Enter
-Take a photo of yourself with your userID written.
-Upload the photo here.
-Change the description to the thing you strive for by clicking edit on the image.
-Change the type to either 'Mr Torn submission', or 'Miss Torn submission' by clicking edit on the image.
-Get as many votes as you can once accepted.

Participating - 10 Points
Mr Torn most extreme - 175 Points
Miss Torn most extreme - 175 Points
Mr Torn 3rd Place - 125 Points
Miss Torn 3rd Place - 125 Points
Mr Torn 2nd Place - 275 Points
Miss Torn 2nd Place - 275 Points
Mr Torn 1st Place - 525 Points + Mr Torn 2008 Crown Item
Miss Torn 1st Place - 525 Points + Miss Torn 2008 Crown Item
Competition starts on 1st of July and ends on the 1st of August.

Personally a expect it to be just as rigged as it was last year. i think contests should actually require some skill instead of basic photo editing knowledge and access to google. Because really, you can just write you name and id on a piece of paper, take it to your local library and scan it, then e-mail it to your home pc, google a pic of some random whore or troll my space for them. Then use paint to put the paper over one of their hands and with a little work it would be passable. and sure, the staff would catch most of them, but there will always be the one or two that get by.
going to the effort of taking a pic and uploading it isn't worth 10 points. I can get the 200k the 10 points are worth in a few crimes. I'll pass thanks.
