Using your Flame Thrower you fired 1 shot at Satai hitting his right hand for 9487 damage
9487? Damn! Is the opponent as good as you? That cant seem right
That's because you hit the hand. If you had hit the body or head it would've made a lot more damage... at least i noticed that in my tryout attack a few minutes ago (not with a Flame Thrower though, and definitely not with 2,5 Mill worth of strenght...)

We have a brand new attacking system. After months and months of work, it is here. It is the biggest change that we will have to experience for the next few years but reports show that after getting used to it, people believe it is a much better system. I will list some of the major changes here, and then go in to a little more detail below.
-All stats worth training
-Temporary items added
-New weapon stat, accuracy
-Team gang-up
-Will now hit certain areas of the body while attacking
-Graphics to show where you hit the enemy on the body
-Attack logs sent in events
Basically, we have a whole new system that is pretty different than the old one. I ask you to give it at least two weeks to get used to it before the complaining and riots start. I want to make it clear that, there is still time for changes to be made on it. You can make suggestions in the suggestions forum, but please don't spam there without trying it out properly first. The number one confusion you are most likely to have, is the drug addiction results. Drug addiction will lower your stats a lot, and if you are on a certain drug while attacking, you may receive certain disadvantages too. You may find yourself losing to people lower than you because of this. Your stats however, will work in more or less the same way they used to.
The second confusion may be the random hits and lower damage. There are much larger random chances in this new system; you may find yourself randomly losing to someone slightly lower than you if you are unlucky. The amount of damage has also been reduced for whored strength. Previous one hitters will now maybe have to hit the enemy twice to take them down. It is of course still possible to become a one-hitter, I know many big strength whores can still one hit easily. The fact still remains that, the more strength you have, the more damage you will make.
All in all, the stats have been changed to all have decent results on the field.
Temporary items have been added; you can now use your grenades or throwing knifes to do big damage with a higher accuracy, if you require it. You can also use flash bangs, smoke grenades e.t.c. to disable your opponent temporarily to give you the upper hand for a short while. Different temporary items will disable your opponent in different ways.
Weapon accuracy. If you find yourself missing a lot, it may be worth while finding a weapon with more accuracy. On the other hand, it may be good to aim for a higher damage weapon if you are not having issues hitting the target. We should start seeing a big diversity in the weapons being used. Find the weapon that is best for your stats. You can see a rough estimate for the weapon accuracy by looking on the item info.
You will now be able to see the other people attacking the same person as you. If the other attacker beats your opponent first, you will be able to see who it was and only have 25 energy deducted. This means it may be worth while ganging up on the same person at the same time if you are unable to beat them on your own. The one victor of the fight will count towards a chain if you are chaining at the time.
As you will notice straight away when trying out the attacking system, it will display where you hit your opponent. Different areas will give different damage depending on how lethal the hit is and if the body armour covers that part of the body. You will have to search for the body armour that fits you the best. Armour will only protect the parts of the body that it covers, for example: A simple bullet proof vest is only going to cover your chest and stomach, but cover those two areas quite well.
I should point out that, the bodyguard armour has now been changed to “Outer Tactical Vest”. It will have exactly the same advantages as a body guard, just the name, image and description have changed on the item.
You will also now be able to see a brief review of what happened in the attack when someone attacks you. You can get to this by clicking 'View' on the event. You can also share the URL with others, (if needed, the sharing of attack logs may be removed).
The system has been tested a lot, over 3000 times, but nothing can beat public testing. You can post your opinions/bugs in the correct attacking threads in the suggestions forum. It is not too late to have it changed if you build a good case and prove why it should be changed. After testing, many of the staff are now used to it after some initial difficulties, it is just a matter of getting used to it.
In 2-4 weeks when hopefully most are used to the new system, we will have a vote and see where to go from there.
All in all, results show that the new system should be more fun, and produce more suspense.
I will update this announcement to answer any questions you have.
Thank you.
Become More Virtualized and Relalism , thank you ched
Just a little thing, could you guys put the "accuracy" gauge a bit more visible, I have a hard time seeing it in dark blue now, not to say that we have to put it in baby blue, but just tone it down a bit.
