What your employees do in the game effects the number of stars.
I have been watching my employees and when they go to jail a star will drop, once out of jail the star returns.

Hmmm. Curious update.
I've been on the whole day, increased my ddays by another 31, done my casino, sold market stuff, done auction things, trained, done crimes, busted people and I dropped from 3 stars to 1 stars.
If it's not bug ridden then I assume it's saying - don't get loads of ddays or play the game a lot?
:)
Still...interesting to try and figure it out. It's something to do.

I noticed that one of the people that work for my company that i was paying the least out of all of them it was the player that had the most stars 5 out of 5 , so then i raised that employe's play, so i think it rilly helps!!

I dont know whats the deal with these stars, but my income hasn't changed, I haven't changed anything and all my employees have stayed at 1 star, both the active and the inactive ones....

well, I only know it is based on not playing the game... seems you are better off just being active and not playing. None of my workers are in the jail but just about everyone is a 1 star. I am calling a few guys no good drug users but a few i know for sure do not even know what drugs are. I will not pay my workers to stop playing the game and just logging in for me... but mark it up for another good idea with no backing.

Like the majority of updates.. Everybody just shouts and woots.. What a great update.. An update without a full explanation of how it functions is a poor update no matter how it works.. Can somebody from either Admin or the developers please post a full explanation of how the efficiency star system works.. There are so many theories being banded about on this forum but theories are all they are.. It's like most updates, the higher echelon are privy to it's workings and thus able to use it to it's best advantage whilst the rest of us have to figure it out.. An explanation please.. I know I know I'm wasting my time asking but hey maybe just one day we'll get an answer..

This can be read 2 different ways.
1. WAH! Don't make any changes to TC! I liked it better before!
2. I haven't taken the time to read what others have posted about what they have found out on how the stars help the company. I just like to bitch and moan like an old person or a spoiled brat of a kid.

Well, I understand why you have Dim in front of your name after reading this post. Why should everything be spelled out for us? Part of the fun (OK, most of the fun) is trying to figure out how to make these new updates work for us. If you feel this way about it why don't you just have someone else take care of your character as far all "game" parts of TC are concerned and you just read the forums and bitch and moan.

Nice idea, here's the but:
Can we have some sort of a guide as to what affects it and how to improve them ?
I have employee's with far more than double the stat cap, yet the stars are low. They are active, good house's no or little drug use.
We need to know what is pulling the low star employee's down.
It's hard enough to get it right as it is.
Maybe a tutorial can be updated or added .

I have 1k happy, a mansion, good stats, havnt done any drugs in lika month, yet I have a 1 star. Im very active too. Whats up with that?
