Over the past few hours there was a little lag and some downtime. This was all due to us installing a massive new backup system which should abolish nightly backup downtime (won't be in effect for a few days yet). We will let you know when it is in effect. There 'may' still be very short period of downtime at midnight for the usual crons to run but other than that, TC will be open 24/7.

This new backup system does not require nightly downtime to run and can run more often, keeping your data backed up even more frequently. The backups are even stored off site for extra safety.

i did notice a pages loading very slowly but i just waited clicked off and checked back a little time later


and torn city all day and all night has good things too it like players wont be able to log out and haft to wait for the back ups to finish


and bad things which i think like how do the casino tokens get to us and tax from our homes all that kinda stuff

and also bad for some people and good for some people well it depends on who you are in the game. attacks will be increased possible

and it is rare that i log in at late nights such as 11:45 pm

and the game that never sleeps soon to be torn city

and i dont think many players will play non stop either

everybody has got to sleep some time

any way it is proof tha torn city is always improving
