I think the peaceful & aggressive option is very good , because for peacful factions it gives them time to gain a bit of respect |

That is chedburns plan exactly. Let them get as much respect as possible until they are forced to go to war and be farms to his friends in HOF.
That is the one and only purpose of this update.

Jondalar I thought the update was to show how single minded and how much an ass he was? Then again what do I know? I think warring factions should have to pay to go to war. I also think Admin and helpers should not be allowed to attack, join aggressive factions, or be a part in every day warring outside helping others or playing them selfs. Server wipe would be so much nicer.

well the admins are players not really employees...... but it just depends if they r using the info they have access to for a advantage in war fair then yes they should not be aloud to war but there would be alot of controversy over that in itself

Yeah, well, "coming soon", "more to come soon" and other "great updates".
I will not even bother to read what they are because we all know what will happen to them if chedburns "friends" in HoF don't benefit from them at the cost of newbies and other underdogs.

Who cares about Horoscopes, Personals (Ok guys I know the female/male ratio sucks), Stock Exchange (No fun there.), Chronicles, and Comics. Those serve very little if no purpose to the game.
Ok so I failed to list bounties. That level one is confusing the crap outa me.
When are we going to get real updates and not this crap they are giving us?

There are some very intresting threads in the forums on this very subject. (good reading) You have to decide for yourself whats true and what bs here.
but these updates thus far are rather pointless, the bountys are intresting, but i can see how thats going to come back and bite a lot of people in the ass, if you piss off the wrong person or Faction the bounty page will amount to legal DOS attacks on TC players forcing you to either abandon the game or submit to someones will. ( Another way to force your faction into aggressive mode for farming.......hummmmmmm)
as for the comics and horoscopes, pointless gameplay wise but the newspaper needed some jazzing up, lets hope some people who are actually funny start submitting material soon. lol
I dont dabble in the stock market so i really have no opinion there.
Things that need to be addressed is this whole faction fiasco, and the public relations between players and Admins need serious work done to it. I for one am very sick of seeing people called whiners and crybabies when they have a legitimate beef with TC. I've stopped filing bug reports, and if something shall we say suspicous happens........ (oh i dont know say a random mugging of 18 million dollars the moment an investment is taken out) purely an example wink I dont go to the admins, theres really no point , unless you like abuse of course, then by all means, good luck.
I have not seen any Improvments that benifit all TC players with these updates, lets hope the bigger ones are not a total disappointment as well

That is tha case for me too, allthough I still check in here from time to time I am more busy with games where the admins don't cheat. Those are more fun.

This is so true. The admins and senior staff have taken the fun out of this game. I remember playing when TC was the premier game now I watch as it slowly slips into the abyss. How much longer can TC survive with the corrupt leader and his equally corrupt henchmen running the circus.
Ched has successfully gotten this thread buried by piling on stupid update thread. These updates are a joke. The staff have successfully steered us away from the big issue - getting scammed by the senior staff. So many have fallen for it too.
What good is a personal ad going to do while your faction is getting eaten for lunch by the big boys? Hey they gave us comics to read while we are recovering in the hospital from being chained to death. Horoscope - if you have a faction that is not in the HOF I see a bleak future. Bounties - if you can't see trouble brewing here you must be blind. I don't do the stock market so have no real opinion there. After all this is done you can now chronicle the whole experience.
Thanks for a bunch of near worthless updates. Hopefully the next batch will be more useful.

well, i got an idea. peacefull/agresive may be set by the guild leader.
peacefull means no wars, but has disadvantages too.
I'd say, peacfull are able to do 1 OC at a time, and have to make a new one everytime the other one is done.
agresive factions instead get to do 3 OC's , which (when set) will automaticaly be restarted after they are done. Players will still need to join though, however, you can only join 1 OC at a time.
this makes a nice diference, factions would need to choose between : safe, but with a low income
agresive, but 3 OC's at the same time.

i do the gamers should choose what happens in tc not the admins or even ched we should all get a say more voting about real matters. then we could actually look forward to things in tc not rubbish stuff like comics or personals how sad is that come on ched let us choose what happens not you and your buds

I think we have to realize that chedburn doesn't give a sh*t about what the players want. 99,5% of us want peaceful factions, but he doesn't even have the courtesy to answer us in here.
One of the "great" arguements against peace is thet this is a "wargame". Yeah, right!
I guess that explains why we "need" things like:
comics
car races
beauty contests
pets
companies
stockmarket
horoscopes
marriages
estates
All signs of a good wargame, don't you think?

yeah I think this could be a very good game if ched listened to the players their are some really good ideas that people have like hotels where you can rent them out that's cool it should be used but will it no because we are not thought about even though we are the players

Now that cheds b*m buddies all have super stat status, drugs finally have dire consequences. I was against the whole using drugs to cheat and gain stats, and now that we have a chance to catch up, drugs become even more dangerous to use, Christ, they arn't even trying to dusguise the fact that they are all cheating anymore
