LeukyBear's suggestion is okay but still real basic. I suggest a tiered respect system (that is cut by percentages, even, yet having a solid base of a larger % at the bottom and the higher you climb the thinner each tier with more reward too it.) that ties in organized crimes (the higher you are in tier the more respect you have and more organized crimes you have access to) this tiered system then controls the respect multiplier much the same way chedburn had layed it out though still satisfies the meaning for respect.

If you think about gang wars, they control who has the right to do what, where.

Just read this one. Must say this boost in upgardes keep impressing me...too bad not in the right way, of course...
If some staff could explain why the updates need the chains erased, I would appreciate it...If PT losing combined chains of 8409 members will make the game better, I would like to know how since a lot of my E and game time was put into these numbers...
If you are so keen on changing stuff, change the rules to deny admins the right to play the game, to spawn items, edit stats and change the DB...it would be a lot fairer to the little tiny young players who join now, wouldn't it? While you're at it, change it so HoF factions gain negative respect instead of positive...

If you're going to make respect "tradeable" for stuff, probably chain numbers should count too, since the bg factions in this game won't gain noticeable respect anymore...

Try to remember a couple things

A. Believe it or not there is more to factions then just the HOF.

B. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little.

what these updates REALLY need are respect barriers.



eg: Respect 1200 cant be warred by saaaay.....anyone over 500 or whatever.


i only say this because, i started a new faction, and it lasted 8 days before it was chained into the ground by DA. f**kin blows

Your not the only one affected.
Event the little factions who worked far for a best chain of 74 or something are upset.

You don't see them screaming about it? Asking for compensation?
