it's illegible it's so small. Poor layout if you can't use a readable size font.
(note to everyone else, if you increase the font size of your screen the newspaper gets bigger too, but it throws all the rest of the formatting out the window)
And to people who obviously have to bitch: ctrl and + solves the problem, as well as selecting whatever section you want to read.
People who pay for adds get their adds displayed for 5 times longer now, because less people are willing to pay, or don't repeatedly spam the section anymore, and only (relatively) important messages, so they don't lose anything either, Hurray.
50K was a bit pricey; but 250K is prohibitive. What could you possibly sell and still make money off of with an ad cost that high? Anti-tank, RPG maybe? This should also drive up costs on such things as morphines and DPs.
1920*1440 on a 19 inch monitor makes it hard to read, and increasing the browser font size makes all the other text look too big! the white "paper" is not realistic at all and much harder on the eyes..

agreed, i want to put an add in the news paper for my 100th day birthday, but don't have enough for a advertisement... bummer
Yeah it looks like a newspaper, but I can't read it so who cares. This is a point where looks over functionality does not work. I would prefer a usable tool instead of one that does not work. see post above on usability.

Real hard to read; ads are near impossible, what with the short hand and Monkey-grammar.

But yeah, looks more realistic and soooooooo not worth for ads to cost 250K, especially if you're just looking for employees. I'd make it 100k. oh and where's the "post a message" button? cant find it.
Paper looks slightly more realistic, but nothing actually like a real newspaper.
The actual layout looks rubbish, unprofessional, the cheapest tabloid rag in the shop has a better layout.
It didn't nee to be changed, also 250k to place an ad? WTF?
That will completely cut out the little guys who are buying and trading is little amounts etc.
I understand if you were trying to get people to use the forums more but still needn't be done.
