I'm sure a lot of people sold their main property to buy 2 separate smaller ones so that during the last week one of them didn't end up in a shack.
Now because we can't sell directly back to the estate agent it looks like we'll lose money and probably won't be able to regain our old house because the market will be flooded with people trying to sell their houses to upgrade again, thus driving down the prices.
If that's true then I think the we should be able to sell directly back to the estate agent for a week at least so everyone can get back into our old houses.
My problem exactly. I need to sell my palace to give my partner his half back, now we wont get 32.5m back each because of the selling to players thing. Plus, that market isn't working right now, so we have an unfinished update. Nice job.
Now that I dig further into it, if you get a decent sized Penthouse for 2 mill and deck it out with about 1.7mill in upgrades, you have a perfectly good 3.7 million near normal regular palace for happy! Granted it's about 925 in happy and a reg palace is 1000 without upgrades, but that's a pretty freaking huge leap. These house upgrades are perfect and a way to overinflate the happy and train even higher stats then the older level players could when they were playing.

I dont like this new idea. It just ads much confusion. Now its going to be really easy to get money like all the other games. I dont like it and i think it should be removed. Its annoying. And it makes it Lag x10 more then usual. This is going to be the down fall of Torn City
I think the updates are great, I only have one problem, and all the noob suck ups can all flame me for it but i was forced out of my house that i half paid for, lost all my happy had to build that back up, and now that i moved back into my RIGHTFUL house, that i didnt want to move out of in the first place, my happy is now 490/1375. This is a complete crock of sh*t I want COMPENASTION for all the inconvienience and lost happy!!!!

to everyone who says dont whine cause your low lv fuk off, i aint inexperienced ive been her eover 400 days i just havent ahd a computer all this time, of course all you lv 24+ are happy you have your final house or at least a ranch, this is great news for you, and wollong a semi detached house is worth nothing now cause noone wants garbage property like that after this update and some of the upgrade themselves cost more then the houise im competing to sell something in a market that noone wants but then again all the high lvs get all the breaks what can i do? but here bullshit answers from high lvs why its good its not good its like giving out a million dollars to 2 people but one of them lost money -1mil its not good but so be it be hqappy all you high lv faggots us "noobs" got screwed and all you can say is dont whine dont complain cause it gives us no advantage in fact we become worse off then before im jsut writing up list of your names and soon enough you'll all suffer for your arrogance i cant wait for the disasterous opening of the estate market its going to be a luaghing joke for anything under mansion watch and see i can tell houses will be up for sale for over a year even and still not get sold

og and btw, how do you move you mate back into your house. i can't seem to figure it out.
also... damn.... 250mill to upgrade to the top interior package. so i guess it is half of the cost of the house, cuz my castle needs 100mil. that cool. just omething i can ACTULLY save up for......
and also...lol. when you buy an upgrade, does (say it cost 100mil), does that add onto the total value of the house,or is it only like half will add to the value? it would be nice to know. and also, can you "un-upgrade" your houses?

I agree we get stuck with a property we didn't want in the first place we should be able to sell it to the estate agent to recoup our loses some of us had to borrow money to be able to buy a house because of new changes now we are basically screwed and end up with extra expense of new house. I knew we were going to be screwed somehow how in the new updates. I went through all this the last time TC went down and now again. I think the improvements are fine don't get me wrong but give players a chance to sell the house they were forced to buy and to recoup their lose. If others want to buy houses and upgrades and keep the house they bought great. Just please rectify the problem we have now. And just what does all this mean for married coouple right now from reading posts a lot of players are having issues being able to move back in with their spouses. A more detailed explanation needs to be posted for all the issues in regards to housing not just a quick blurb from ched about the updates
UNA_ RadicalFanatic you need to chill out or leave. Am I missing something, are signups closed? Are there no more users joining Torn that want to purchase better houses than a shack?
Its great to have all the good feedback, it really makes our work worthwhile, but things like this ruin it.
