Great job, now the whole site lags like Im on dial up. This is very reminiscent of last octobers updates that led to the crash. if we crash again are you going to credit all your buddies multi accounts with millions of dollars once again? while the rest of us are told only 1 months worth of data was lost, yet took close to 3 months to reearn?
To me, this is a clear example of engineering ideal vs. someone who "plays" the game.
It sounds great to have these organized pages. But you are actually making it harder bust people. Many look for high levels who've failed bust attempts. They are around 1.5 hours jail time. That means people have to know to go to say.....page 5-7 or something to find them.
Before you could simply scroll down and eye the person you wanted to bust.
Not user friendly for the way that we, as active players, would use it.

Since when I first logged into TC, there have been a few things I have really wanted to see changed/improved. Yes, you're a level 40, I'm only 25. But I'm just about 180 days old here. I don't bust people, because I choose to keep my energy for training. However, seeing the jail in those rare cases of a friend's being in and me, wanting to bust them out was a harassment. Especially with my slow connection, it'd take quite some time to fully load, and most of the times, it wouldn't FULLY load. It'd load up to some part, and then it'd stop loading and I had to refresh.
I just checked the hospital out on an unfortunate event of burning in arson (!) and I liked it a lot. I liked the jail's looks too, but yes, i do agree that a filter is needed that can work on the two factors of time, and level.
I also would very much like to see this improvement on the items market pages too. The miscellaneous part is quite a mess!
Unlike many people here, i believe that TC needs to get out of being just a game. It needs to have more features that make things more user-friendly.
The mere fact that certain punctuations don't work in the newspaper, bug reports etc., is annoying enough to me.
Yes, many don't even care about spelling, let alone punctuation, but I do, and I am looking forward to seeing my ideal typing atmosphere.

I also think that while the pages in the jail and hospital are nicely done, I think a link to the full listing would be useful too, for example when searching for a particular player.
this sucks i used to spend 5 min at most in jail when i was caugth busting, now because of the many pages the players don't bust people in the next pages

the idea is the opposite, to get less lag, cause you only load a small part of it,
if you want to bust out a friend who you know use your friend list.. (which is limited i know)
This is cool for the hospital, only. We don't need to browse through the hospital, the ones who need revives are right on top of the list, so that means first page.
People are lazy and won't go through all those pages in jail to find someone to bust, not very use friendly, as Kharma said. Make it an option for us, to view all the people in jail like we used to of this new paged view!
Jail shouldn't have this page view thingy, now emails/events on the other hand, that would come in handy!
It looks nicer and Im sure it makes a difference, but I dont like it, it's too hard to find a particular person, if you want to bust a certain friend.
It would be nice if they were separated by time slots.
I think you everything that the admins did will be considered as not good enough. If this was the old system and Ched changed it, many will say that this system is better. Just give it a chance and you will get used to it.
Yes the old one is easier to locate a particular person. However, its loading time is lagged and sometime the page only come in parts. With this one, eventually you are going to know which pages a certain player with a certain jail time is.

i agree it's usefull for hospital but it really interferes with busting many don't like to click on all the pages of jail to bust people out

I can see where you two are coming from, though the system works, could be way more efficient.
As to crazycriminal's post, I too would like to see improvement on the items market, with something like this and better use of columns. I also agree with having my punctuation striped on sending items out to people or thanking someone, lame stuff indeed.
Wow I do not think I have ever seen so many people in jail. I am not sure you can call the problem "fixed."

How can I possibly know what page to go to in order to quickly bust someone when there are 10+ pages? I can only add 50 friends to my list so that makes it difficult to find all of my friends quickly.
I cannot offer criticism without also attempting a solution. Is it possible to make a jail search feature where you can put a persons ID or name which will link you to the page they are on? Could you make it so you can bust an individual directly from their profile page? Sorting by level or hours seems to be a more friendly approach.
I agree about the punctuation issues when sending items or in the paper. As text is two dimensional and without vocal inflection to infer meaning, one can be misinterpreted by the lack of punctuation. Besides... some of us like to show off textually, as smart IS sexy!
