Okay we have narrowed it down from 1300+ apps to 108 to be exact.
Just a few things to those of you who got your app's turned down.
We look at many things, your forum activity ...meaning your participation in the help questions section of the forums, your activity in the #help channel in irc, the way you present yourself in the app goes along way as well.

anyone who cant use good grammar should be gutted and hung i have no tolerance for crappy typing on my new 22" monitor, so ill be looking out to school noobs
