Okay I know me and a couple other admins have posted about this topic several times but it seems to be like a bad disease that just keeps spreading.

1. No Torn City Staff member will EVER ask you for your password we have the means to verify this for ourselves therefore there is no need to ask you.

2. Torn City does not send out mails asking for your information. There are mails going around saying TC is going to update and if you dont send your username and password you could get deleted. Rest assured this is NOT TC staff mailing this crap to you. DO NOT reply to these mails and never give out that information.

3. Think before signing up to another game about using the same password and username as you are using on TC. There are several people taking advantage of people signing up to other games with the same information as used on TC and then logging into their TC accounts and taking it over. Save yourself the trouble guys use a seperate password for the games you play.

4. There are NO hacks that can give you levels and loads of cash either. These people are just trying to get into your account so by trying to get ahead with less than legal means you end up losing everything you have worked for due to your account being hacked and taken over.

Bottomline I know those of you who do these things are sick of seeing these kinds of announcements but good lord the amount of accounts being taken over by the above mentioned ways are becoming insane.

Please use common sense and be careful.
