Looks good, but the fact is that is heavy to download. I have a Dial-up connection and no choicce to go for High Speed and something that I love frm TC is that is very light to play if you have slow connections, please think about it.

Another option is to keep both versions saved as cookies: the new one as default and the old for those who don't like it.
Another reason why people may disapprove of it is because some of us login during work. While not visiting the forums conceals the random signatures, having a big logo at the login makes it all the more difficult to login from work. (Keep in mind that this is for people who work at smaller companies or companies that do not keep track of the browsing habits of their employees.)

Whatever Ched does half the people here will say they don't like it. It happens every single time. At least he tries. It might not always work, and I'm the first to say that some of the 'upgrades' have been shockingly handled, BUT, unless you can do it better, don't continually give the guy grief.
If you can code a game like this better than him, then the world awaits your offering. I'm sure you will then appreciate how hard it is to keep thousands of players happy when you get criticised for everything you do.
If you can't do it better, then what gives you the right to bitch and moan? Even if you are a donator, you have been playing the game long enough to know it is 'warts and all'. It is not a slick, packaged game. It is what it is. If you don't like it, go write your own.
As the saying goes (roughly), 'if you ain't got nothing good to say, shut the [oops, i'll get myself banned if I say it] up!!'
Really, I know there are a lot of people who will moan about everything in their life, and feel the world is so unfair to them, but get a grip. It's a game. Lighten up.
If he did a comp or vote, people would still moan - look at the Mr/Ms TC thread and the profanity ban issues.
But of course, you have the right to free
speech, which someone will tell me straight away i'm sure.
Sorry for wasting valuable 'anti-Ched & staff' whinge space in the fourm.

As i said i like it, BUT
here is another problem. If you're accessing with cell phone on torn city too, WILL TAKE AGES, AND ALOT MORE MONEY than did before.
My opinion is that, you add drop down menu, with option what style you want to use and thats it. And everyone will be happy..

It looks cheesy and GTA-ish. GtA is an awesome game, but graphics is not one of its strong points. now whenever i see the login page, all i think of is OOOOH, pretty colors lol
