Never had a problem with foul language, though I did voted against it in the polls, but I knew the side I voted on lost horribly, the descision here is contrary to the poll cast.
Here is the real clarification, reasoning behind revision: An excess in admins.
The poll was not cast with the intention of allowing the use of three words.
Doesnt faze me any, just means I cannot quote iso's or dr's posts reaffirming the matter. I will keep the staff busy with the last paragraph, most likely with themselves.
So, let me get this [4] right. If I want to be a [1] and put partially ***'d out cuss words in my forum sig it's ok? Cuz y'all said it's ok. I'm not trying to be a [5], but this [3] thinks the vote ya'll had aught to stand.
Someone got really defensive about my last post. I was joking about the flashing. Mainly, I was insinuating that I typed too much, and that your sig was was in my view the whole time.
See, I can offend people without swear words, AND while making friendly jokes.

School has started early this year.
The forums will be lots less interesting and with all the changes TC in general is becoming its own government. Oligarchy/Plutocracy : A form of government which consists of rule by an elite group staff who rule in their own interests, especially the accumulation of wealth and privilege. Only certain members of society have a valid voice in the government.

alright have a question so being off topic is spamming. is giving pointless praise for 2-5 pages for someone stating what is in the codes of conduct or terms of service or for fixing a bug that should have already been fixed? just wanting to know if posts that are just smileys or "good job *insert staff name*" or if those count as spamming too?
but good job on setting some rules on what is "heavy obsenity" and since so many people have a problem with these restrictions you could maybe start an adult forum so people can curse to their hearts content. just a few ideas
I'm not saying that people should swear all the time; however they shouldn't be punished for it either, unless its harassing someone else. Basically, if it isn't harming someone, why is it a problem?
I realy don't see why the forum will be "soooo boring" because people can't swear? Is it SO cool too swear? I mean.. come on guys! How old are you realy? If it is so hard too follow normal grown up behaviour, maybe you SHOULD watch less mtv and pay more attention too your school work instead.

whats the post? What it mean? If anybody dont have to say anything so dont post at all. This kind of posts also shouldnt be tolerated.
And then you come in complaining about it, wow much better, but i could assume the next person could come and say the same for me. All i know is, this game is slowly, slowly but surely, pushing its players away. I applaud your efforts to make it a etiquette filled game, but my gosh, you couldve at least have taken a vote or something, i read a post earlier, and basically, you dont really cater to our wants..it can sometimes be annoying. Its the little things like this that make good quality players leave the game. And now that everyone read this forum thread, there will be no changes or an actual vote, because it would look bad on your part. For next time, an extra 30 seconds of thought before you act on things like this.

Excuse me, but I really don't think you'll be able to enforce this. In all honesty I don't really think it's staff's place to nanny the players, especially the players of a game such as torn city.
Flame wars are bound to happen, and forum banning everyone will just have less people play the game.
Nevertheless, it is only my opinion. But in all honesty these rules blow.

alright what book do you suggest? i have read about 3 in the last two months and yet i still curse, completed highschool and a year of college so far still curse, i have only ever watched about 2 hours total of mtv and yet i still curse, as for the morals and respecting others thats all someones judgement how much you need but i feel i have a fairly good level of respect for others..... but i still curse and don't like to be limited to not allowed to curse somewhere. curse words are a form of stress relief and the words can add emphasis where needed. so who are you to decide what i should watch or shouldn't though? oh well im going to go back to bigger and better things you all have a good time.
