How about the "Btch" in DESO Cristen's forum sig?
I would think that if you can see a "Btch" on one part of the page, there is no sense in banning it from the rest of the page.
If partial cuss words are accepted in forum sigs, I would encourage everyone to put a full list of partial cuss words in their forum sig. |
And for your information, I changed my name by choice not because it broke any rules because it didnt. It was to give one less thing to whine about and before newday kicked in I was in the process of deleting all my sigs that had my name. Have a great day.

While I don't agree with using every second word beginning with F; I think this is a pretty stupid rule. Wild Irish btch? That looks stupid. I *LIKED* it before, when it made sense. I thought we voted this OK?
As for some staff's attitude of "complain all you want; we're not changing it" thats an awfully slippery slope you just started on. I've seen more than 1 online Text-based game go down due to this attitude once the game takes off; not to mention stupid rule changes. If its not broken, why are you fixing it?
To people who are STILL using all 3 allowed "swear" words purposely in these posts past 4 pages; please stop proving their point. If we're old enough to handle a gangster game, we should be old enough not to play the "I'm-not-touching-you-so-you-can't-get-mad" Game.
Mark my words; when staff start doing things because THEY believe its the right thing, not because WE do, then end is nigh.
The players do still pay for the servers with donations, right? Just checking.
Edit: I think I nearly took a seizure looking at Cristen' sig while typing this.

Just to clarify a few things about swearing and flaming in these forums.
From now on only the use of damn, hell and ass will be tolerated.
ANY other form of cursing will result in a warning and/or ban of the poster, and edit of the post in question.
Dont post asking if your favorite curse word will no longer be allowed. If its not one of those three words, its not.
(This includes posting any word in another language, hoping for it to be missed by staff.)
Flaming, as always, is using any form of conversation to degrade another player. (i.e. youre so damn stupid, hes such an idiot, ect)
ALSO. From now on, going off topic in a post is considered spamming. If you cant keep to the topic of the original post, start a new one. Theres no point in having a 4 page post if 2 of them are people discussing a different topic entirely. This includes posting 'first post', nothing but smileys, or anything that has nothing to do with the topic of the first post.

Well hmmmmmmm.. where to start on THIS one... well let's see... 1) it is nice that someone finally set down a SET guideline as to what can and cant be said ... 2) to bad it took almost 3 years... 3) now this gives everyone something to whine and cry about even more..
