but I can't read the entire thread can we use a different word like certain other sites e.g
"That's blamming annoying"
or
"Blam you!"
Obviously not in that way but you get the general idea.

Just to clarify a few things about swearing and flaming in these forums.
From now on only the use of damn, hell and ass will be tolerated.
ANY other form of cursing will result in a warning and/or ban of the poster, and edit of the post in question.
Dont post asking if your favorite curse word will no longer be allowed. If its not one of those three words, its not.
(This includes posting any word in another language, hoping for it to be missed by staff.)
Flaming, as always, is using any form of conversation to degrade another player. (i.e. youre so damn stupid, hes such an idiot, ect)
ALSO. From now on, going off topic in a post is considered spamming. If you cant keep to the topic of the original post, start a new one. Theres no point in having a 4 page post if 2 of them are people discussing a different topic entirely. This includes posting 'first post', nothing but smileys, or anything that has nothing to do with the topic of the first post.

A right royal pain in the ass.
Thank you admins for making it possible for my 7 year old to now watch what I'm doing on the computer without fear of him repeating the words.

And your talking about your 7/yo watching what your doing without getting ideas or repeating the words.... your doing GTA crimes and shooting people on a day to day basise on here -_-
Iv heard admins say (eg clansy in the Nap thread) that this is a war game made for fights and war so id say swearing is.
But at the same time i know why it was changed, because there was too much gray area in the old rules so no matter if i think its wrong its for the best at least until another set is implace that would better suit.

I guess the Purpose of this thread has slipped his goal. (Or maybe not?) Maybe the admins wanted a discussion on this?

If the goal was to "Clarify" what will be tolerated. You made your point. Good Luck on giving lots of and lots of forum bans. Cause i'm sure... a lot of people will NOT think twice befor they post a reply. And 3 days forum ban? That'll give you more work when they "come out of fed"... anyways that's how i think about it.

Depending on the offenses the days can go from 3,7,14,31,forever Dosent have to be in that order either.

swearing tends to be a good healthy outlet for when they get their wallets cleaned out by a thief,etc. It does also make the game a bit more colorful..I have no problem with abiding those rules..But they do take away a bit,from the spirit of a "fighting Game"..

In my opinion these new rules changes are completely changing the consept of this game. Even though I avoid using any curse word (reading my English is bad enough ) I don't lose my sleep or feel offended seeing them on forum when they're not directed to other player.
Our children watch television and sure they learn and hear any new swear words there in addition to all the violence, actions performed in intimate situations, etc so why have staff have suddenly become so protective?
If this path is now chosen, I recommend the crimes would be removed and replaced with deeds like sell cookies, help your grandma cross the street, do voluntary work and visit church. Also drugs should be removed and instead of Xanax we would take c-vitamin drink.
Just my 2 cents.

After a little justified sarcasm all other but this swearing restriction rule is good.
What I also like to see removed from TC forums is thread bumping. That applies especially to Factions area what is currently dominated by recruiting threads with their bumpers. Those smack talk and warring threads are much more entertaining so let them be on the top.
If thread is dead or just disappearing from 1st page due newer threads let it go there. It doesn't bring any extra information if you write there "bump" and those who're looking for certain thread surely will find it.
