it's a farce....if there's a written contract between 2 players, admin/staff should have to police it....they won't allow scamming of items if there's a mail trail...this IS NO DIFFERENT!
But meh...fark it....if you've been scammed on protection, a NAP, or a hitman shoot me a mail....and if I can personally help to rectify the situation, I'll do my damnedest

No, Vigilant....I'll do it for free....cause it's usually the "weaker and or less fortunate" that are getting scammed.

That's the point of my posts hoob, trust them or not, if you had a CONTRACT(see: mail trail) where they agreed to NOT WAR you for 6months, you pay them, they redeclare the next day, admin/staff SHOULD HANDLE THIS PROBLEM

If we wanted naps as part of factions originally we would have coded them that way. ...

How would you code that in to factions anyways? Put in a link with a list of NAPs or something? Don't the factions that are serious enough to have their factions proctect someone else or not attack another faction keep their own records of that stuff. I thought so, but then again, I don't really know because I don't pay attention.
Whichever way you want to look at it, if you want to justify your decision on the matter by saying it wasn't an intentional feature in the game, it's still a form of scamming if used in a certain way and it seems some are just wanting to turn a blind eye to it. I suppose that's a personal view though.
You guys want clear stated written rules, that seems to be a big problem lately.

wow thats a bit unfair, i think u should reconsider because that just allow so much disonasty in the game, people might get so anoyed at this they might stop playing, but ur tyhe bosses who would want to own a faction anyway the stress leads to early death,,,
