back in my old dinosaur days there was a book called how to influence people... or something like that. Well now its come down to Tc having its who ya know, and who ya blow, for more modern terms

yup well tc well defenatly loose money in donations and there wont tons of new players coming in at a time now i know for a fact that there not changing the rule so the best advice i can give is make hi level friends
the only thing i can say for sure is that the staff is safe from all this because they are aether all hi level in hi leveled factions or they have hi level friends that will protect them with there hi level factions the reason they made this a rule is because they are probably lazy and they dont no what its like to slowly be destroyed
they dont have to deal with this problem as a matter a fact they will probably be the ones scamming that was probably what the meeting was really about they were probably all like how can we screw with the other players and make a benefit out of it lol

Basically the post is stating that scamming is ok, because it's an issue staff don't want to deal with.
Whether the scamming is on a personal level, or a faction level, it's still scamming.
And simply put, people won't want to play if they're constantly getting scammed.
Think about it staff: do you want a flourishing game, or a game everyone leaves because of bullshit rules and lazy staff?
not for nothing, and this will probably earn me another darn ban if not fed, but wtf? What this boils down too is there is now a ton of staff, and they are cutting back on their workload by slowly elimanting anything staff has to deal with. As fprmer staff, I know they are swamped w crap to deal with, but wtf, you take out all scamming, all NAP's being invadild if someone so choses, well, hell, they can just go play poker now and not have to worry about their jobs! Sorry, some in staff know I still love and trust em and always will, you know who ya are, but some well...

Are you retarted? What do you think is worth more? Players losing millions of dolalrs through scams or someone seeing a abd word thta they probably heard a million times before from their parents. TC has an age recoomendation. If you choose to continue on playing TC under that age you do so at your own risk.

what if ya paid your protection to protect you for life?!? theres this one faction (Not saying any names....) that asks 10mil for lifetime of protection.....This blows.....now they might just give up on my little faction and stop helping us out....and then, i'm out 10 mil.....

This game does need some limits.....its too hard for someone new to get anywhere in this game.....this game is made for the people that started in the early days, because it doesnt reset.
Not that I want them to reset but they could stop higher level factions extorting the really riduculously low factions, or put a limit on how much surrender fees are, people are asking more than a faction is worth. If a faction has high respect and levels maybe a max of $2mil, if its a low level and respect faction surrender could be set at $200,000.
Anyway thats my suggestion, cause 5-10mil surrenders are totally stupid, I'd rather buy a new one than pay up. I suggest no one pays protection from now on, its pointless and always has been.
Drewlface had a very good point. Since admins will no longer honor NAP's or attempt to set them right then they just made scamming legal. All you have to say is, "I will protect you for such and such amount." Then just never message that person again. Staff just said that they will not do anything about it.
If you guys are trying to make the work load that much more easier on yourself's that's ok. But it seems to me and to 1000's of other people that you are acting like you are being lazy.
It was your choice to be staff. If you do not want to be staff anymore, retire. Someone else is willing to put in the "extra" effort.
First time I heard of a nap was from a staff member, thought it sounded stupid. Then again shortly before blackmail and extortion were in the game rules and no one complained about that being removed even though it was given no mention to you all.
DELETE IT! Don't create or join another faction until those top 20 are done kicking their own asses!
How can the game be about factions like Leuky said that Ched said that his sister said that her brother said this game is supposed to be about without more than 20 factions?
