lmao at the guy that thinks DDoS is a 'hack'....
causing a server to lag is hardly a security issue... it's just an inconvenience, oh - and it's really easy to block... but hey, if you're a loser that's just looking for attention and wants to get reported to the authorities, go for it!

btw.. i don't know jack about SQL but from what i've seen the "code" for this isn't all that great - my guess is the "programmers" are simply going to some 3rd party web-site such as Web Monkey and simply copying and pasting... the ideas are original (sort of) but the code definately isn't.... but hey, I still play because I think overall it's a good way to kill some free time

if you want to stop the hacking into accounts, there is a really easy way to do it. too lazy to explain though.

They take your code, steal your identity then post it as them
XD

And the second thing is they don't even have to bother paying you!

I suppose it's a genuine offer, but if you did tell the staff, and they closed it, how do you know they would ever pay you?

Lol Saucy, 3
They'll do a "Bill Gates manoevre".

They take your code, steal your identity then post it as them
XD

And the second thing is they don't even have to bother paying you!

EDIT: Lol... I just kept reading all these posts...
I really have only ever seen things like "hacking" (REAL hacking; people changed the live code and reset the server...) in Runescape, and that was classic.

My god that was hilarious....
So I suppose the SQL hackers here will have to NOT destroy TC? I remember Jagex having to roll back the java client three days to find the dumb problem.
Man that three hour downtime was the funniest time I had.

Lol, when was this?

And if someone could find a flaw wouldn't they rather hack the accounts and keep annonymous?
And how are you supposed to find a flaw when you can't see the coding used?
And what is torncity's ip address?

I should note why I wonder this aloud. I did once give code to one staff member to assist them in finding cheats. I don't think they ever used it. I also once found a flaw in one of the gambling games allowing a lot of cheating. I proved it with screenshots and explained how it was done. It was corrected by one of the coders, who never even bothered to thank me.

Money? Hrm. Nice if you can get it. If they can't spend five minutes to send you an ingame mail saying thank you, I have my suspicions they'll ever bother with the cash.

You should of sent me the cash you from cheating, I would of thanked you.

I swear, this whole thread is ridiculous.

Hale, TC's IP is 89.145.66.81

That's nearly useless information CONSIDERING IT'S PUBLIC AND TERRIBLY EASY TO FIND..

But have fun anyway. In fact, here. Have this too, knock yourself out.

although there are a bunch of kiddies who played wargames once on here there are also a few people who do know what theyre talking about. the safest thing about this site is that by the looks of it ched knows enough to not get conned by social engineering.

ah well, less talk more action

this could be a trap ..... remember all those accounts that got hacked.... if you say your a hacker.. they could blame you

well, in all technicality, anyone that used any means to take over or whatever someone else's account is a cracker, not a hacker. And here I'm just gonna sigh and wish I was a full fledged hacker instead of a slightly above average code monkey.

We now offer cash rewards (via paypal) for any security flaws found that can be replicated.

Please contact a staff member who will put you in touch with me.

Thanks!

Obviously this doesn't apply to your IRC server, or you'd be talking to people you have fedded.

Well since he -invited- people to hack I sincerely doubt that he'll be able to legally go after anyone. Cuz, you know.

I just plain don't like hackers. They do nothing but screw things up for whatever juvenile hard ons they get from it _

chances are that the majority of the exploits found in your site could be triggered through links to scripts. a common form is a tinyurl.com site which relays a user to a site with an auto-run script which could transfer all gold to a certain user, then delete the event.

i would love to try to help, but i am expressly forbidden from doing this anymore
