yeah my friends are using CSRF to force people to buy pets for about 1000000 at a time. the fix? filter .php between [img] tags. there. go fix it chedburn.

Before I say anything. Let me give you the background info that i've only read until page three of the comments and I had to comment back because this is just making me sick.
I think Ched is putting hackers in a bad light. You're a great guy ched, but I remember you saying hackers were welcome because they find bugs. Now hackers are bad? The use of the word hacker is improper. Script kiddies find out a way to steal cookies and exploit it. Real hackers find that bug and find a way to fix it. If it weren't for hackers, both Microsoft AND Apple would not be here. Think of the way you're using this word hacker. There are white, black, and gray hat hackers. Even people who are called hacktivists. Then there are script kiddies. Wannabes. People who say I can use this tool to do this, and another tool to do that are NOT hackers. Hackers made those tools to ease other hacker's jobs. Hacking is all about a hobby and a community. Community is very important. You contribute and learn from it. Script kiddies get into the community, take the tools and knowledge hackers collect, and use it. I could go on but i'll stop right here. Think of how you are going to use the word hacker before you use it.. Ched, and all of you else out there also.

Well said my friend. I love the few hacker friends that I have because they tell me how shoddy my PHP coding is on my webdesign (I'm still learning it, so they are helping) and ya, hackers are great. It's the imature girly men that use the tools and such in a negative manner that really blow.

also try not to type in your passwords....like on yahoo with screen names people can make fake login pages, then you type your password and it steals it, i always type my pw on word or something then copy paste it, thats the safest way to do it

On the "hacker" note. Hackers aren't one type in general, just like in the real world there is a good person and a bad person. These hackers used their knowledge poorly and put it to the wrong use. There are hackers who test PHP, Java, HTML, and other forms of web code for site owners and some are even paid.

On another note, if you ever see a link that ends in .exe do not click that. Do not download a program or file from someone you do not know. Do not even click a link unless you are friends with it's sender. The people that got hacked, I hate to say but I feel no sympathy for you. If you click any link that comes your way, it's your fault for the damage caused by your stupidity.

it could be a "keylogger" or somin else if u do think there is a logger in ur pc runa virus scan and it should c if u have one or any other stuff that might steal ur info or somin
