A system notice was just sent out stating about links.. it cut off.. it should read.
Recently there has been a string of links mailed to several players that has resulted in accounts being taken over by other players. We are working on resolving this issue and returning the accounts to the correct account owner.
Please use caution in clicking any external link. If you don't know the person who sent the mail link to you, please use mail reports and report the person so we can stop them before more accounts are compromised.

the message was sent to me, the message said how would you like to make some extra money, and had an external link that went to a website that hides the url. i'm not sure how they get your password, i didn't go any further.

words of wisdom for those who arent familiar with file extensions...
never open an exe, rar, zip without full knowledge of what it is
the rar and zip are compressed...and most likely some very small piece of info is in the file...my experience has been that when you go to extract or decompress the file it gets triggered and blossoms into some bad bummings for a computer...
i would hope and pray the common player in TC would know this tho...

They are FAR from lazy.
Hackers are the people who write most of the crap you take for granted, they are the people who come up with the greatest computer programs.
So next time you try and rip on people, firstly know something about them.
