It would be really nice for an upgrade to pass without it getting fucked up...
And here's a suggestion: Change "we look forwards to welcoming you back in a few moments" since its pretty much a goddamn lie, to "we look forwards to welcoming you back as soon as possible." |

Yanno, if even a 1/4 of you knew what the fuck it takes to run a game of this magnitude and coding the spam for "something went wrong" threads would be so much smaller.. if you think doing an upgrade to a game this size, with this many servers, and this much coding is simple.. START YOUR OWN GAME and give it a twirl.. big deal, wah , you lost something.. i bet you never lost your keys, or some money, or anything else in your pathetic horrible life and bitched THIS much about it.. "omg i lost a merit", bullshit, if you contact staff, they can see whether or not you received that merit and you will be credited with it as soon as the report is finished.. "omg, i lost this, i lost that", wah, its not like its REAL.. "wah, my dog died", well shit, buy another one for 500 bucks, if you are that broke in the game, i'll give you the 500 bucks if you shut the hell up about losing a damn dog... boohoo, yea it sucks, so what.. did you lose sleep over it? no you probably got MORE sleep because you wasn't playing the game cuz it was down.. did you die from it being down for however many hours it was down? nope cuz you are here bitching about it.. my bet is if even 20 of you go and see what its like to run a game of THIS magnitude with this many users.. you'd yourself come back and apologize for being such a selfish ass about them trying to make the game better.. everyone complains about "lag", yet when they are trying to FIX the lag, you bitch because there's downtime.. what would be even better then no lag at all, would be NO BITCHING at all.. but im sure we will get no lag in the game, wayyyyy before we ever get no bitching.. if running a game like this is so easy, why aren't half of you that bitch about how horrible this game is, go make your own, then maybe you will realize what it actually takes to run a game like this.. see what its like to deal with all this coding, what its like to have to code it for 5 different servers, how fun it is to deal with 500 people bitching about stupid nonsense.. yea it sucks, big deal.. as i said before and will say it again and again.. either shut up, quit bitching and enjoy the game, or QUIT.. if all you are going to do is bitch about them trying to make it better.. then do the latter.. and quit.. make it nicer for those that actually enjoy this game.. if you didnt like it.. and it wasn't the best game out.. then YOU wouldn't be here now would you?

well aware of the effort going into producing this game. in the past, been pretty supporting of the staff.
That doesnt excuse what i was referring too. Iwas reffering to the sheistiness that has been ongoing the past week. god forbid you wanna see an event. Lags in the events well before the server upgrade, so wtf. I bitch cuz I actually paid into this, but no more!

Everyone has the right to speak, as long as we r the customer. If u go to a restaurant, order food, and has to wait for few hours, the service is not good and aint worth your money, will u just smile and say, we dont have the right to say anything cuz its hard to run a big restaurant. We understand. This is bussiness, and what drive bussiness forward? it is us the customer. Try to ask donald trump if u still cant accept that.
Sure its hard to run this thing. If u give 100 people with 0 knowledge to run it sure everything will ruined. On the other hand why dont get someone really skillfull to handle this. Its your bussiness not us. We r the customers. We play for fun and we pay for the fun too. Lagging and crash isnt fun. Its wasting our time .

is it just me or is tc running slower then it was before this 'server update'? i'm on dsl and tc is running like dial up i'm not one to complain but the load times that i have are getting annoying, talked to a couple other people who play, they have the same problem and just gave up

OK so it gets funnier again.
during downtime my dogs got hungry and unhappy, even though i suspect their age did not increase. now, on the other hand, they are 100% happy despite the fact that i last fed them 6 hours ago.
plus: no chat box in the jail and no "use 11 nerve to escape" option.
plus: job cron not working for two days now.
could you possibly inform us in another announcement what's going on, how long it will take and what we sjould be careful about (i hear using auction market is a risky business for example)?

wtf???is going on...i get logged in then get logged out i mean wtf???? then i log back in and it takes 5/10mins for a bloody page to load up??? i thought the new update or whatever was supposed to make it faster?! oh yea forgot Torncity works reverse everytime!!!!...and you also said this should eradicat all the lag MY A** it did???? or could it just my browser or my internet connection

i filed bug reports and been waiting patiently. i dont see where things are like they were prior to the crash. im still out roughly 29 million dollars. before you try the upgrade again how about straightening out this mess?
MAD_DOG [205610] i had 3 items in the auction when the game went down. i do not have the items and no events on them. im missing an antitank gun 2005 baloons and a trenchcoat. Items High 205610 Not Yet Fixed.
MAD_DOG [205610] i had 2 dogs that won fights during the game being down. ref Moneymaker i have no events for the 10 percent winnings or the bet that i made on my dog. im ok as far as Funkydog is concerned. Pets Low 205610 Not Yet Fixed
