|Torn is unlike any other game around, we don't just make it - and then leave it for you to play. We're constantly improving it, updating systems to make them better and adding in new features. If we're not happy with the factions system for example, we'll keep at it until it's perfect - It's the same with any part of the game. We can't just leave something inferior the way it is, just because people are used to it.|
Often it's a case of trial and error, putting something out there and seeing how the players use it and what issues occur. There's only so much foresight available and it's often impossible to predict what will happen. But eventually, with time and effort, it'll be perfect in the end.
I don't know of any other text based game which has the same constant developer presence as Torn. This is why we're at the top, and we'll stay at the top.
