Hi Guys,

The new image server is up and running. It was installed last night for faction images and the night before last for profile images - meaning that there was no extra downtime (we did it during the "backup" downtime period).

This means that now you will no longer stand a 50% chance of loosing any uploaded image as you did previously!

Any problems discovered should be reported via the usual bug reporting setup.

No, that was not the plan..... have you all lost your profile images?

The profile images are all still in the right place, so I cant explain why they are not working....

But your profile image was deleted on the site?

The change should have been transparant - you should not have had to reupload your images. I've just checked and there are still 7.4gb of profile images in the folder, so I doubt all those users have reploaded, so I'm trying to find out what caused yours to get deleted from the server!

Lol Davz there is another Admin named Locked whose first name is Alex. Your not really seen around here and thats ok so when they see an admin calling themselves alex they assume its locked. No problem

The red name shows your an admin. I know your doing behind the scenes work but most citizens of TC just notice the Red name and recognize you as an uber important admin. You get used to it.
