about 20 people i know on here, who have been on it longer than me for about 3 years now some have been on here for 5 years, and seriously without points being sold on the market were all thinking about quitting and just playing Minecraft

The best update that could possibly be released..
1.) Useless application - To use the application, I need Windows with internet connection == just 2 more clicks to open my browser and check it myself for free, if it`s for mobiles or something like that, it would be useful but this? c`mon.. well, waste of points..
2.) Removing option to buy DP status with points, well, TC is no longer 100% free, you can live without DP status of course, but the best thing I loved the most on TC is gone - Donating gave a little advantage to those who donated, but you were still able to get it without donating so it was really 100% free, now it`s not.
Well, when I said that application is a waste of points, it actually isn`t, it`s a waste of something useless so it`s not a waste actually
And don`t say how poor you are that you have to pay for servers and so on.. There always were people who donated and always will.. This is just sad.. Are you saving for a new shining ferrari or something??

I wish I say "I'm tired of your bad staff and your greedy changes! If you don't fix this stupid change, I quit!", but I can't. Torn City is unique. I've played tens of online games, and it's the only one I'm still playing (also Kingdom Of Loathing, but I'm playing it since a few months, and it's not that good). I don't think I'll find a game that is as open as this one.
But still, I wish I quit. Even though I know I won't quit, except if they make a total remake of the game, and remove many of the existing things.

I was just thinking to myself today, really, I don't have enough software on my computer, I want somthing running constantly in the background taking up CPU cycles, and it would be even better if that connected to the internet taking up some bandwidth. Ideally this could give me live updates of things that I can really wait to find out about. But then I thought, you know what, that isn't specific enough, I mean I have lots of programs that could tell me when I receive emails that I could download instead, you know what I really want, somthing coded by somone who is not known for excelent coding skill, and renound for buggy updates, I want some of that type of code running on my PC please. Oh, and you know what, I'd like to pay for this software in a currency that is harder to get hold of than jewelry quality diamonds.
I guess I was in luck!
Naa but really, thanks but no thanks, I won't moan because I'm not obliged to use it, but I consider it worse than pointless. |

Norton sucks.
Overall, I could see this being useful. I go on TC many times a day but even I get sidetracked and forget to check up on it. I don't like the idea that it cost 50 points though. Might as well just charge real life money for it.
I would rather see points get brought back and see third party advertisements somewhere on here to help pay for things. Maybe ironically enough in the points market.

meh well i guess i'm in the minority for thinking it's useful as i frequently get distracted and lose track of time.. all i have to say to others is.. don't spend the 50 points if you don't need it. It doesn't mean it's worthless.
