What is meant by normalization? Data Normalization that one studies in the database theory or what?


Sort of, but what you learn/learned is the really basic stuff, usually taught by people who have never used or understood it. Hence 90% of the worlds databases are nowhere near normalised. Even those that were designed correctly usually get implemented wrongly with no true foreign key relationships and changeable data as a primary key.

Education. Something we look at every 2 or 3 months when a course finishes, I guess it cant cause too much damage that way.
