Stop wining
Be smart. Balance between spending points on upgrades and saving them for the next class! Thats ALL
Do more and more races, sooner or later you will win some races (or at least third place) and gain points

Anyone else having trouble with Class C?
I had no problems with either Class E or Class D. As far as I can tell, there is no reason that Class C should present any issues.
Logically, the progression from class to class should be the result of nothing more than perseverance and luck. Since a racer progresses from class to class by obtaining upgrade points, and since upgrade points are obtained by placing either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in a race, there should be a consistent influx of new racers to each class, with a similarly consistent elimination of racers from the same class as they obtain enough upgrade points to progress to the next class. It is, therefore, statistically improbable that a racer would consistently place 5th or 6th in each and every race...
...yet I have... and I am unable to figure out why.

Unable to win in Class C! something has to change about this! i only get 6th and rarely 5th. i saved only 12 points, and that was proberly not enough! so i never can get better to get to class B. Is there going to be a way to BUY racing points? with merits or points? This way i can get some more uprgrades and start winning again! cous this will take Years! Just an idea! what do you guys think of it?

The influence of Driver Skill on racing performance has yet to be revealed. I'm hoping that as Driver Skill increases, the likelihood of winning races increases, despite obvious vehicle/upgrade advantages.
So perhaps after a long-running streak of 5th and 6th place finishes, my Driver Skill will be high enough to balance out my inadequate vehicle upgrades.

The number of points needed to upgrade to each class means that it will take longer for these players who are winning in class C at the moment to progress. It will take time for you to get a few points for your new car, but driving skill will affect how good you race. Keep plugging away and eventually you'll get better? Maybe try a new car, or hope you get a circuit your car is good at.

Dont count on it. 5th or 6th is the best my B car will do in regular races. I made the mistake of putting the points towards acceleration, braking and handling. Thinking with my drivers skill being up there, top speed wouldn't make that much difference. Man, was I wrong.

I have same problem except I spent over 100 points on my cosworth. Considering its a "RARE" car it is left severely wanting. Which makes me wonder why its even in class b as class c stock cars can out perform it.

I' m sure that you can increase your driver skill level by competing
in custom races. Can you also win points in custom races? If so, that's a way people could use.
Set up your own custom races and invite members of your faction or friends to race.

The trick I have found so far is to purchase the car with the highest top speed because the other factors do not seem to make as much difference. I purchased the C class Corvette Z06 and did very well. Where I made my mistake with the Ford was thinking top speed was not going to matter that much. Even if I had to get lots of races in with the Ford Cosworth, I should still be able to start winning.

I have tried other B cars and my lap time is even worse than the Fords times. With no points and no way to get any, I am hosed.
With over 100 races and no wins in official races, shouldn't admin. be looking into this? Especially since my Driver Skill is 4.19.

I suspect safety might have a bit to do with it. Having said that, getting to Class C was fun and I'm still enjoying it, even though, like many of you, I'm only getting 5th or 6th place.
Also, can anyone tell me how to get rid of the old cars I enlisted (and upgraded heavily) in the lower classes, that I don't want anymore - I'd rather have the cash.
