Love the new racing model. ^_^
Maybe an idea to make an update with a personal garage in the items view? Where you can see your cars there ordered by name and class.
Because I got a few cars now but all scrambled into all items I have. It effects the overview of your items.

The order is fine. They go in order of price. So your most expensive car is gonna be at the top all the time.

On another note. I have an idea for an update to racing.
I want to see a chat window that is at the bottom of the race page while involved in a race. This chat would only contain the people that are waiting to race. The chat will only be available during the 60 min wait to race. Chat window will be disable once the race starts.
the chat window for the race could come up as a bottom chat window as well. Like the chat windows we have for Company, Faction, Global and Trade.
I would like this added so I could talk smack before the race starts and rub it in peoples faces that they will lose.
Anyways, I hope to see that added in the near future.

An hour is too long.
You should really be able to unlist, as well as see car stats PRIOR to purchasing them, as well as available upgrades.
My 4+ years of racing skill and my garage of cars I had before not counting for crap is quite a bit of a letdown. I had well over 100 million spent into racing before.
Not a bad start, like the customizing, but it needs LOTS of work.

True true. But what I more ment was. If you have like 100 items in your list you still need to find the car. Not that it matters when you select one for racing. Just got the idea tho, so it's like a sort of showcase like thing.

I like it although its going to take an awfully long time to get to Class A. I do, however, like the way you can only upgrade cars if you have racing points because that means everyone and their uncle can max out all their cars. Also, if you can't "un-enlist" your car can you still sell it?

An hour is fine plus the time of the race. It makes it easier to avoid the hardcore racers and lets the rest of us have fun, which is what racing should be. Maybe make it so that one car is not the dominant car in each section would be good. By tweaking the car stats according to the turns and pavement on a race it would greatly even the field.

Agreed. It would be nice to have the option to un-list cars from your selection.
Maybe also add a counter for points gained in the different racing classes (rather than have to add them up).
All in all, the system rocks pretty hard. I'm sure we'll see some tweaks though.

You can change your car once you have entered a race though.

How can you buy a racing license when there are no points to buy? And if it cost 500 to get 1 Merit why can't one exchange 1 Merit for 500 point? it's only fair....

Review of my previous comment:
"Apart from the swearing I agree. Been doing great on official races on E class but as soon as my driving skill went up, the upgraded E class car has no chance against non upgraded D class cars.
An idea would be to have the option in official races to race only one class as well as any class your skill allows.
Thank you very much for bringing it back and I do hope you take into account the suggestion."
After a lot of races with standard D cars I slowly started to get to 3rd place and so, slowly but surely, it is possible to amount some racing points. Now I am finishing anything from 6th to 1st which keeps it quite interesting.
All the complaints go away when you realise how addictive it is. Although, I still hold to my old comment: wish you could do official races with one class only as well as any class.

I think that the saftey upgrades like the helmet and racing suit should be universal for all the cars that you own and enlist. You shouldnt have to buy a new suit and helmet for each car, this is very unrealistic for upgrades. I think that all of the other upgrades are very well done. I also agree with some of the other people that you should be able to stay in a certain class as long as you want until you are ready to move up to the next class instead of automatically bumping you up.
